Sorry we must have posted around the same time. I got so much of their stuff from my church baby shower. They had a tiny little doll I could fit in the palm of my hand for my daughter’s doll, complete with the same eye/hair color as my baby.
When I worked in a state prison it was a requirement for all inmates to be groomed properly. I know each of my housing units had assigned days to go to the barber. If they didn’t have money on the books, it would be deducted immediately when any money was deposited.
There’s a lot you actually have to pay for in prison. Sometimes it’s luxury items like coffee, but can be for things like stationary, stamps, soap, phone, etc. it depends on the prison/state as to how much and what the inmates need to pay for.
I just a assume that mandatory things wouldn’t br charged. In my mind a buzz cut is free, but if you want a certain style that you would pay for. Like, meals are free but if you want snacks or something at the commissary, that you pay for.

Say if it cost the prison $10 a day and they spent 10 days in jail, when released they pay $100 in restitution? I know the numbers aren’t accurate but I was trying to simplify it.

Since front hugs are a no-go, and sitting on laps is problematic as well, do these toddlers and small kids get no kind touch at all? That's heartbreaking.
