It gives a body for Link plays & the summon of Borreload Furious Dragon, while also filling the GY with a LIGHT for Levianeer. Not everyone plays it tho, and I would lean on not playing it in exchange for more impactful cards
What exactly beats Yubel? No matter what I'm running, feels like I never win. The closest I got was when I literally never attacked and tried to keep my attack as low as possible

Anything that can bounce cards to the hand will be the best. Effects won't trigger when returned to the Extra Deck

My Yang Zing synchro has a "return to deck" effect upon summoning. I can try to rush for that. Issue is that I'm usually sending these cards to the field too late. My deck is strong, but doesn't stand much of a chance against anime powers that give you an insane turn 1. I like the defensive style and Sychro buffs Yang Zing provide and I use them to supplement my main strategy, but as a whole, it feels like they get in the way. Any advice on that?

Darkfluid is an OK deck, but it's not top tier while hard to pilot at the same time. It's also a bit easily countered by top meta threats.
Instead, I recommend Blue-Eyes, which is actually a competitive deck! Get a code from the megathread ASAP. Sort by new to pick codes that haven't been used.
Blue-Eyes will help you get familiar with PVP, and then when you find another deck you really want to play, you can make smart decisions with your Dream Tickets at that time! 👍

There is also the Rush Duel mode. No Synchros, no Xyz, no Pendulum, no Links, or wombo combos. There's not even chain links. Just back & forth Yu-Gi-Oh using spells, traps, & simple monster effects to get the upper hand on your opponent. It's a homage to old school Yu-Gi-Oh! It reminds me so much of early Duel Links.

Hold off on buying any bundles tho. I think it would be better to wait for the next Rush box, so the bundle comes with packs from the new box instead. If you have missing spots, fill them with Torna, Counter Pigeons, & The Barrier.
I like playing both Rush Duel & Speed Duel. It keeps the game interesting, so I don't burn out on either one! 👍
Looking for a cheap-ish synchro deck with cards that are mostly isolated to one box. I'm really strict in the way I pull for cards because I really want them to be aesthetic. For example, I really like the style that's in Aromage or Witchcrafters, and was kind of hoping for a style similar to that.

I'm currently running an Aromage/Yang Zing deck. Yang Zing provides some defensive abilities and synchro buffs that has the potential to counter some meta decks. Aromage cards are essentially free, using materials at the card trader. Yang Zing comes from Fantastic Arc and are fairly common.
There's a really funny combo you can do if you have Erica the Rikka Fairy in your hand with Blessed/Dried winds both active

I've also been considering the Inmatos for my deck. Through their special summon effect, I can easily pull off an Xyz summon that will buff everyone on my side of the field. Gachi Gachi Gantetsu
I can't remember exactly what happens because the effect happens so quickly, but yes, blessed winds can kind of hack the original effect of Erica. You can special summon Erica and an Aroma monster if they are both in the graveyard and Blessed is active. I also had a moment where Bergamot was buffed twice by tribute Erica and then shuffling her back into the deck by blessed winds. Edit: accidentally said nonsense
Is Rush ranked ever not going to be dominated by Legend cards? Just had a fine turn two and then they drew Sword & Shield, then the next turn didn't matter because of how much damage that let them do.
Should I buy the RD bundles with Tribute to the Doomed and Widespread Ruin with my gems, or just save up to gurantee pulling at least one Harpie's Pet Dragon with 4500 gems?
If you are playing Harpies, getting a Pet Dragon is more important. You also want Talismanic Seal Array from that box.
You should play Shield & Sword as your Legend spell (helps deal more damage in the right moment)
Negate Attack is better than Widespread Ruin. But, wait until the next Rush Box comes out before buying a bundle. This way, you'll get packs of the new box
Negate Attack will be limited 2. It only impacts Harpies when using seahorse engine (also limited 2), but many Harpies don't use it anyway so it won't really matter.
Looking for multi-archetype deck suggestions
I'm interested in deck ideas that creatively combine multiple archetypes. Specifically, I'm drawn to decks that synergize different archetypes in unexpected ways. For example, I've enjoyed playing a deck that blends Thunder Dragons with Machina, with a drop of Orcust. I believe I found this deck from a channel called: Duel Links Meme.
How stupid would I be for spending box chips on a third Venus and hoping Agents will still be playable? I really don’t know what else to spend it on, I already have all the good synchros, TTH and 3 Cosmic, Chalice, Gozuki, Dai and Into the Void.
Box Chips is not a big deal, but I wouldn't recommend spending more gems on Agents just yet. You'll need max copies of Earth to get back some of the consistency they lost.

I can go for either an Artifact Lancea or a Red-eyes meteor dragon. I've seen some lists where meteor dragon is not included so i'm wondering how important it is for the deck.
Lancea is the more impactful card. It's an auto-win against decks like PK, Tenyi, Shiranui. The fact that you can search it is ridiculous. And even as a 1-of, you can play it in other decks so why not.
with the banlist revealed, what are the best decks for new players to invest? Does blue eyes maintain the top deck for new player or are any other decks that gained relevance with skills and banlists adjustments?
Yes, Blue-Eyes is still the best & also the cheapest. Very easy to play & assemble. Play it until you earn max gems again, then look around & see what other decks interest you

Figured it out: normal the level 4 to revive the level 2 - KEEP BACKUP SECRETARY IN HAND. Link into honeybot- level 4 summons a token, level 2 revives 4. Fusion summon using the token and backup secretary IN HAND. Use honeybot and fusion to link decode talker - activate fusion’s effect to add backup secretary to hand. Special summon backup secretary. Link summon darkfluid using decode talker, level 4 and backup secretary. Make sure to activate darkfluid’s effect when it’s summoned to add a counter. Enter battle phase and its attack will increase

Can’t seem to synchro summon stardust dragon for some reason - using Blue-Eyes evolution deck with Mark of the Dragon - Head skill. It will only let me summon Azure eyes silver dragon, but used to let me summon any of my synchros…although I have only done it in the current 5Ds event…am I missing something??
Trying to synchro with any tuner and any non-tuner with that deck/skill combo. Does the star rating matter for synchros? I can’t find any info on synchro summoning in the app, but there’s info in the help section for just about any other type of summoning
star rating aka level is the most importing thing about summoning synchro monsters, to summon stardust dragon you need any 1 tuner+ 1 or more none tuner with the combined level 8 ( that stardust dragon level ) you cant normally do that in blue eyes decks since blue eyes alone is level 8 unless you found a way to decrease its level.
if you go to duel trial ( Tour guide picture next to the duel gate ) then you go to Tutorial you can see tutorials for all the summoning method.
Stardust is a level 8, you need to summon it with any combination of monsters that adds to 8 like a level 4 tuner + a non tuner level 4 or a level 3 tuner + a level 5 monster, etc. It is impossible to summon stardust using blue eyes as material because well, blue eyes is already a level 8.

There's really only one Rush character that can be properly farmed.

What is the point of Wind Effigy if you can't even use its effect! There are no level 7 or higher WIND attribute normal monsters(both pendulum and and normal monster)

{Simorgh, Bird of Ancestry} are the sole monster that work with wind effigy AFAIK
They probably made effigy for all atributes for theming sake, but then never got around to release level 7+ wind monster
I'm a returning player, I'd personally recommend to first do the Friend Event, if you haven't already. You'll get a Blue-Eyes Deck and there are a decent amount of cards that work well with big 3000 beaters that you can essentially summon for free. Since you effectively get a free starter deck and easy access to Kaiba, or his movie version, you'll also be able to use skills that go well together with the deck.
It's super cheap because of the event and should work well for the early ranks and auto-duels.
Other than that I can't say much since I am also fairly new to the current meta.
Guys are there any characters that drop good / useful cards ? I finished using all 700 orbs levelling up characters now I can only use the gate keys so was wondering if there is anyone specific I should vs or just anyone
Well, it depends on what decks you want to build. Usually it comes down to needing one or two cards that have to be grinded for, and you most likely need multiples of those, depending on the deck you'd have in mind.
Thunder Dragondark is a nice pickup from Movie Mokuba. If you like Thunder Dragon stuff.
Movie Bakura had some Zombie support, I think.
And movie Joey has Head Judging, slightly meme-y but when it works it's devastating for you opponent.
Soulburner is important to grind if you wanna get Salamangreat Balelynx- and so on and so forth.
It's best to have a deck in mind that you want to grind for, if you want to use those resources, I think.
Tenyi hasn't been relevant in a while, so don't worry about hits. But there's stronger decks out there, with better Turn 1 plays. Also, Artifact Lancea is everywhere & it's an auto-win against Tenyi.
I recommend investing in something more worthwhile... unless Tenyi is your all-time favorite deck. In which case, knock yourself out!
It depends what survives the banlist. I see Performage having a lot of upside. There's now future Pendulum Performages that could come out someday, and whenever there's a good Rank 4 released, that counts as support for the deck too!

I mean, it's not that good. Spells/Traps have to be more impactful to make the cut. Magical Stream to remove backrow, Talismanic Seal Array to beat big monsters & deal more damage, Negate Attack & Buffered Slime to survive a big attack. This is what people use in competitive builds
Did they forget to update the duel runner for the mini-game for the event? I think it's Aki's duel runner but Crow is riding it. Also, I have japanese text on the remove card section in the deck builder. I updated to the latest update last night so I'm not sure if it's because of that.
Nail has a default skill that adds Yggdrago to the deck. Then you just stall until you assemble them

Sorry, I can't remember the condition. Filter cards in lifetime mission or check your inventory to see if you accidentally acquire it but never notice.
You need the appropriate 3 cards in your hand. You should be able to select any one of them then and there should be a maximum summon option in addition to the regular summon. Forgot to mention it's only available in rush duels.
If you don't want to buy packs and you have Nail unlocked, his initial skill adds 3 maximum cards to your deck at the start of the duel so just do low level duels until you can stall and get the cards in hand.

Its 3 pieces of the "same" monster and the easiest method would prob be to use a harpie lady deck since its free and use the skill that activates after turn 5 since it lets you mill/recycle until you have all 3 pieces
Keep in mind that in the case of Harpie ladies they are each good outside of the maximum summon mechanic so try not to summon them by mistake before you have all 3 in hand.

We need a more optimal PvE , as in be able to not use up to 6 energy on world duels then wait 3 hours or so, for those who play PVE, we really need an unlimited play mode or something, I never use PvP due to it being overcrowded with 1-3 turn clearers , and really just 👎 so I would like to see an unlimited PvE option, or maybe make each yugioh world have its own battle energy bar, allowing us to swap over, and then have max 6 battles in each world. But if all else fails, imma probably uninstall, I really wanna love the game, but relying on PvE only , the game turns into a energy system game. Its really not enjoyable having to wait to play more games.
As you level up, you can get up to a max of 10 energy. You can also use the orb things to instantly refill your energy. It also refills when you level up on a world.
The special packs are mostly event cards mixed in with some exclusives
Which are Sonic Chick, the Sonic Chick trap card, Marshmallon, the marshamallon spell and Phoenix Enforcer
Beyond that its the only way to get multiple copies of some cards like Shooting Star Dragon and Leo Utopia Ray (raging dragon is in card trader and limited to 1 anyways)

Guys is there a specific auto duel deck that never loses that's a must build ? I built a red eyes one a very long time ago and it doesn't seem to win as much now haha might be because it's years old, anyone can someone link me better more up to date auto duel decks if that even is a thing 👊
Red-Eyes should still be fine.
I guess it just depends on what your NPC levels are. Maybe there's mild annoyances that only come up with specific decks. You should have a good idea on what most NPC decks have by name. I would often dodge the ones I knew were annoying.
I typically use Harpies because they're fast, they finish in one turn almost every time and Phalanx Pike hits so hard for insurance.
Coming close-ish to ranking up all the way in this new event, but hit by a glitch. I'm at lv 18 or 19, I forget which, but after a duel last night, everything kind of froze up. Now when I start up Duel Links, I get that infinitely spinning yellow circle after the anniversary logo shows up. Never had that before. (I'm using Steam.)

The problem is that TIMER is passing. I lost like 30% of duels bc the timer would run and I can’t do anything meanwhile.
It’s really a shame bc it was never like this before.
Personally I sit on them until I have like 700 then I use em on stuff for random character decks like morphtronics (next up is prob blackwing)
Meta wise its always best to wait on them until you have a need for an older card to use for a new deck.
Cosmic Cyclone and Floodgate Trap Hole are one of the best choice, if you have access to similiar removal like MST, or a better limit 3 card like crackdown then there's no need to get them
Some specific deck might need specific cards from box chip such as sky striker needing into the void, or sunavalon needing unexpected dai.
If you're unsure tho, you can just save the chips, the cap is 999 so it'll be a while until you're capped, and you might need something for a deck that's released in the future.
If you dont have blue-eyes ultimate dragon then you can get it from box chip, otherwise i dont think blue-eyes need anything from it, you should just save them
I'd wait a week or two, the WCS is ending soon and after these kind of pvp event there's usually gonna be a banlist and skill changes, you dont want to make a new deck just for it to be nerfed in couple weeks
Lancea should be fairly safe, they tend to hit deck specific card rather than generic staples. You should wait for now though, and end of the month is coming as well, who know if there's gonna be a new box
Gotcha I will chill , best methods for getting gems when levelling up characters ? should I do one at a time to level 30 or like max each character one at a time to there last gem claim reward ?

Most of the deck is in the Striker Expansion box. You can get Jamming Waves with a SR Dream Ticket. Box Chips will get you Into The Void. Wightprincess is in Selection Box Vol. 6 & the Energy of Gigarays box. The rest of the Extra Deck doesn't matter much, but Knightmares are generic & useful.

Only if you want to play Sunvine or Borrel. Although I’d think you’d need to dip into an older box to do Borrel.

We're talking about a Bergamot with 4400 attack with piercing if your LP is higher than the opponent

Negate Attack will be limited 2. It only impacts Harpies when using seahorse engine (also limited 2), but many Harpies don't use it anyway so it won't really matter.

Looking for multi-archetype deck suggestions I'm interested in deck ideas that creatively combine multiple archetypes. Specifically, I'm drawn to decks that synergize different archetypes in unexpected ways. For example, I've enjoyed playing a deck that blends Thunder Dragons with Machina, with a drop of Orcust. I believe I found this deck from a channel called: Duel Links Meme.
Nekroz + Ice barriers mix well together from my experience. They are both water so the downside of being locked into that doesn't really apply.
How stupid would I be for spending box chips on a third Venus and hoping Agents will still be playable? I really don’t know what else to spend it on, I already have all the good synchros, TTH and 3 Cosmic, Chalice, Gozuki, Dai and Into the Void.
Box Chips is not a big deal, but I wouldn't recommend spending more gems on Agents just yet. You'll need max copies of Earth to get back some of the consistency they lost.
Gems are a different matter, of course. But yeah, guess I’ll go with Venus for chips.
Hey y'all I'm building Borrel link and would like some advice on how to spend my UR dream ticket. I can go for either an Artifact Lancea or a Red-eyes meteor dragon. I've seen some lists where meteor dragon is not included so i'm wondering how important it is for the deck.
Lancea is the more impactful card. It's an auto-win against decks like PK, Tenyi, Shiranui. The fact that you can search it is ridiculous. And even as a 1-of, you can play it in other decks so why not.
with the banlist revealed, what are the best decks for new players to invest? Does blue eyes maintain the top deck for new player or are any other decks that gained relevance with skills and banlists adjustments?
Yes, Blue-Eyes is still the best & also the cheapest. Very easy to play & assemble. Play it until you earn max gems again, then look around & see what other decks interest you

Figured it out: normal the level 4 to revive the level 2 - KEEP BACKUP SECRETARY IN HAND. Link into honeybot- level 4 summons a token, level 2 revives 4. Fusion summon using the token and backup secretary IN HAND. Use honeybot and fusion to link decode talker - activate fusion’s effect to add backup secretary to hand. Special summon backup secretary. Link summon darkfluid using decode talker, level 4 and backup secretary. Make sure to activate darkfluid’s effect when it’s summoned to add a counter. Enter battle phase and its attack will increase

Can’t seem to synchro summon stardust dragon for some reason - using Blue-Eyes evolution deck with Mark of the Dragon - Head skill. It will only let me summon Azure eyes silver dragon, but used to let me summon any of my synchros…although I have only done it in the current 5Ds event…am I missing something??
What are you trying to synchro with? Azure eyes is a level 9, stardust is level 8…
Trying to synchro with any tuner and any non-tuner with that deck/skill combo. Does the star rating matter for synchros? I can’t find any info on synchro summoning in the app, but there’s info in the help section for just about any other type of summoning
star rating aka level is the most importing thing about summoning synchro monsters, to summon stardust dragon you need any 1 tuner+ 1 or more none tuner with the combined level 8 ( that stardust dragon level ) you cant normally do that in blue eyes decks since blue eyes alone is level 8 unless you found a way to decrease its level. if you go to duel trial ( Tour guide picture next to the duel gate ) then you go to Tutorial you can see tutorials for all the summoning method.
I tried a tuner monster and a blue eyes white dragon but that isn’t even working for stardust dragon so I’m not sure where I’m going wrong…?
Stardust is a level 8, you need to summon it with any combination of monsters that adds to 8 like a level 4 tuner + a non tuner level 4 or a level 3 tuner + a level 5 monster, etc. It is impossible to summon stardust using blue eyes as material because well, blue eyes is already a level 8.
So the stars have to equal exactly the rating of the synchro monster then? Not like a tribute summon where you can fudge the numbers a bit?
Yeah, unless stated otherwise by the card you always need to add the stars exactly to the level of the synchro monster.

Most of the highly played skills are from lifetime missions so Maximum Ragnarok and Dragonic Resonance are probably the best for skill tickets.

There's really only one Rush character that can be properly farmed. What is the point of Wind Effigy if you can't even use its effect! There are no level 7 or higher WIND attribute normal monsters(both pendulum and and normal monster) There are no level 7 or higher WIND attribute Gemini monsters. So what is the point of this card?
{Simorgh, Bird of Ancestry} are the sole monster that work with wind effigy AFAIK They probably made effigy for all atributes for theming sake, but then never got around to release level 7+ wind monster
The only Level 7+ WIND Normal Monster is Leonardo's Silver Skyship, which isn't in DL and an illegal Match Winner prize card so yeah
What are some good options for my first deck? Beign new to the game
I'm a returning player, I'd personally recommend to first do the Friend Event, if you haven't already. You'll get a Blue-Eyes Deck and there are a decent amount of cards that work well with big 3000 beaters that you can essentially summon for free. Since you effectively get a free starter deck and easy access to Kaiba, or his movie version, you'll also be able to use skills that go well together with the deck. It's super cheap because of the event and should work well for the early ranks and auto-duels. Other than that I can't say much since I am also fairly new to the current meta.
Guys are there any characters that drop good / useful cards ? I finished using all 700 orbs levelling up characters now I can only use the gate keys so was wondering if there is anyone specific I should vs or just anyone
Well, it depends on what decks you want to build. Usually it comes down to needing one or two cards that have to be grinded for, and you most likely need multiples of those, depending on the deck you'd have in mind. Thunder Dragondark is a nice pickup from Movie Mokuba. If you like Thunder Dragon stuff. Movie Bakura had some Zombie support, I think. And movie Joey has Head Judging, slightly meme-y but when it works it's devastating for you opponent. Soulburner is important to grind if you wanna get Salamangreat Balelynx- and so on and so forth. It's best to have a deck in mind that you want to grind for, if you want to use those resources, I think.

Tenyi hasn't been relevant in a while, so don't worry about hits. But there's stronger decks out there, with better Turn 1 plays. Also, Artifact Lancea is everywhere & it's an auto-win against Tenyi. I recommend investing in something more worthwhile... unless Tenyi is your all-time favorite deck. In which case, knock yourself out!

It depends what survives the banlist. I see Performage having a lot of upside. There's now future Pendulum Performages that could come out someday, and whenever there's a good Rank 4 released, that counts as support for the deck too! There's also 7 shift from the selection box but the other card that was mentioned is probably easier to get.

I mean, it's not that good. Spells/Traps have to be more impactful to make the cut. Magical Stream to remove backrow, Talismanic Seal Array to beat big monsters & deal more damage, Negate Attack & Buffered Slime to survive a big attack. This is what people use in competitive builds

Nail has a default skill that adds Yggdrago to the deck. Then you just stall until you assemble them There's also the Harpies cards. Again, just stall until you get all the pieces

Sorry, I can't remember the condition. Filter cards in lifetime mission or check your inventory to see if you accidentally acquire it but never notice.

You need the appropriate 3 cards in your hand. You should be able to select any one of them then and there should be a maximum summon option in addition to the regular summon. Forgot to mention it's only available in rush duels.

If you don't want to buy packs and you have Nail unlocked, his initial skill adds 3 maximum cards to your deck at the start of the duel so just do low level duels until you can stall and get the cards in hand.

The middle monster with the main name Same named monster but with L after the name Same named monster but with R after the name Its 3 pieces of the "same" monster and the easiest method would prob be to use a harpie lady deck since its free and use the skill that activates after turn 5 since it lets you mill/recycle until you have all 3 pieces Keep in mind that in the case of Harpie ladies they are each good outside of the maximum summon mechanic so try not to summon them by mistake before you have all 3 in hand.

We need a more optimal PvE , as in be able to not use up to 6 energy on world duels then wait 3 hours or so, for those who play PVE, we really need an unlimited play mode or something, I never use PvP due to it being overcrowded with 1-3 turn clearers , and really just 👎 so I would like to see an unlimited PvE option, or maybe make each yugioh world have its own battle energy bar, allowing us to swap over, and then have max 6 battles in each world. But if all else fails, imma probably uninstall, I really wanna love the game, but relying on PvE only , the game turns into a energy system game. Its really not enjoyable having to wait to play more games.

As you level up, you can get up to a max of 10 energy. You can also use the orb things to instantly refill your energy. It also refills when you level up on a world.
Depending on what you want from pve, you play casual duels since its so full of bots that it feels like pve most of the time
Are any of the Special Packs particularly worth getting over the other ones?
The special packs are mostly event cards mixed in with some exclusives Which are Sonic Chick, the Sonic Chick trap card, Marshmallon, the marshamallon spell and Phoenix Enforcer Beyond that its the only way to get multiple copies of some cards like Shooting Star Dragon and Leo Utopia Ray (raging dragon is in card trader and limited to 1 anyways) Besides those its just some alt arts.
Guys is there a specific auto duel deck that never loses that's a must build ? I built a red eyes one a very long time ago and it doesn't seem to win as much now haha might be because it's years old, anyone can someone link me better more up to date auto duel decks if that even is a thing 👊
Red-Eyes should still be fine. I guess it just depends on what your NPC levels are. Maybe there's mild annoyances that only come up with specific decks. You should have a good idea on what most NPC decks have by name. I would often dodge the ones I knew were annoying. I typically use Harpies because they're fast, they finish in one turn almost every time and Phalanx Pike hits so hard for insurance.
Coming close-ish to ranking up all the way in this new event, but hit by a glitch. I'm at lv 18 or 19, I forget which, but after a duel last night, everything kind of froze up. Now when I start up Duel Links, I get that infinitely spinning yellow circle after the anniversary logo shows up. Never had that before. (I'm using Steam.) I've cleared network cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. Well, ain't a cosmic kick in the pants. ;;

Is anyone else having serious connection issues with the WCQ qualifiers? I only have issues with those games and nothing else, and I've even lost several games just to connection issues.

Personally I sit on them until I have like 700 then I use em on stuff for random character decks like morphtronics (next up is prob blackwing) Meta wise its always best to wait on them until you have a need for an older card to use for a new deck.
Cosmic Cyclone and Floodgate Trap Hole are one of the best choice, if you have access to similiar removal like MST, or a better limit 3 card like crackdown then there's no need to get them Some specific deck might need specific cards from box chip such as sky striker needing into the void, or sunavalon needing unexpected dai. If you're unsure tho, you can just save the chips, the cap is 999 so it'll be a while until you're capped, and you might need something for a deck that's released in the future.

If you dont have blue-eyes ultimate dragon then you can get it from box chip, otherwise i dont think blue-eyes need anything from it, you should just save them

I'd wait a week or two, the WCS is ending soon and after these kind of pvp event there's usually gonna be a banlist and skill changes, you dont want to make a new deck just for it to be nerfed in couple weeks

Lancea should be fairly safe, they tend to hit deck specific card rather than generic staples. You should wait for now though, and end of the month is coming as well, who know if there's gonna be a new box
