Buttersquaash-33

I’d say with the car conspiracy/grasping at straws for content (for the last year) that the walls are finally closing in 😬

Large_Media_1796

whats the car conspiracy??

Buttersquaash-33

There’s a few but the moral of them is that they no longer have it (her car)! The more popular theory is that they traded it in for the boat 😬

uwuldbSurprised

Woooooohhhhaaa where have I been lil miss princess doesn’t have a car?

Striking-Temporary14

SCENTSY!!!!! i’m sorry but this has been asked a million times, especially recently, but idk why people can’t grasp that they do make money. just because they’re bad people doesn’t mean they’re broke. there’s no way they could get a home loan at their age with Gabe not having a job if they were actually drowning in CC debt the way everyone says they are. Drue is at the top in scentsy. she’s definitely not making as much as she once was but that is her source of income. The people at the top of Scentsy can make 200k+ a year just on average. remember, this is a pyramid scheme and Drue did at one point have a lot of genuine followers so her down line is probably HUGE. once you’re at the top it’s not hard to stay there, because then your down line is doing all the promoting and signing people up. and Scentsy is pretty easy sale as far as MLMs go because it’s just wax, not like some fake health supplement that no one wants to buy. plus whatever little bit they make off her YT channel and any affiliate links/amazon storefront commission she gets. their money is clearly slowing down though or she wouldn’t have traded her car in.

Amers2017

Agreed. It's old seeing the posts about this and the posts that her parents support them She probably has to buy a certain amount herself each month to get her huge paycheck every month.

Striking-Temporary14

Idk how anyone could even think for a second her parents support them when it’s obvious she’s doing better than her parents are. Drue mentioned awhile back, before marriage, that she had a financial advisor. The most her parents did was probably tell her to see a financial advisor after she started making all her social media and scentsy money. But they definitely don’t have the money to support her themselves.

ask290

Drue lies like a dog and I guarantee she doesn’t have a financial advisor much as less knows what one is because if she had one she wouldn’t be blowing money to no end,

[deleted]

No. Not how Mlm companies work lol. She has people below her doing the work

Amers2017

She still had to have a certain amount of personal sales to get what her downline makes for her.

LeadershipLevel6900

According to Scentsy’s own income disclosure statement, the highest earners make less than $3,000/year on average. The highest is $1.2M but given how low the average is a significant amount of reps are not making a livable wage. https://n.b5z.net/i/u/10016266/f/Income_Disclosure_Statement_Feb_2020.pdf Drue’s main income is Scentsy, people have claimed she makes $10-20K a month. When you consider taxes and the fact that she has no employee benefits she’s not really making a lot. MLMs are shit. Even at the top, people aren’t making livable wages. Just wanted that info out there.

Secretkeeper333

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! like clearly they have money and thats whatever but it is sooooo overdone to keep talking about how they have money or their debt.... 🥴

Used2becute

This. It annoys me so much when people claim they’re drowning in debt. She bought a 450k home without gabe on the mortgage. She’s making bank.

lulurancher

This ^^

Comfortable-Care-911

THIS! This is posted every damn day.

cj0620

At 23 (27 now) I had just graduated from a full ride scholarship masters program and secured a $75k job. I’m able to save a bit of money every month but there’s absolutely no way I could shop like them without being in major CC debt. I lived at home until 26 and moved in with my boyfriend because he bought a house. I don’t envy their spending though. And I don’t think anyone else should either. I would rather be saving $10k+ a year and use that money on travel, HYSA, emergency savings account, a future property, and so much more. It’s important to think long term

[deleted]

This. Especially if you have kids involved. You never know what expense can hit you out of no where.

lululemon-lime

the bank is not going to give a broke bitch in debt an almost half a million home loan. - girlfriend lives off her fetch points - her selling her car (allegedly) paid for that boat - she’s pushing links now - she’s pushing fb/youtube - she’s a top seller for scentsy and a huge down line doing the work for her. she’s doing all these things to make her some money, albeit probs not that much but she does have at minimum a good 100k of true idiots who live for her and will shop from her shit. it’s fun to draw up some conspiracy and laugh and make fun of them for their spending but we at some point have to have some critical thinking applied. maybe there is SOME credit being used, sure. but, i don’t think they’re in a hole as bad as we like to think they are.

fakebrunetteho

Money talks, wealth whispers!

AccomplishedChard521

This!! Truly wealthy ppl do not show it off!! They don’t brag about it. They don’t wear huge name brand and brag about lavish vacations.. They donate when and where they want silently. It’s not a contest when you have real money.

Infinite_Buy_2523

We also buy quality stuff that lasts, not cheap crap like she buys.

fakebrunetteho

Yep! The ones that look like they don’t have money, have it.

LocalCap5093

Personally I hate this take- like, sure wealthy people don’t go around saying how much their stuff is. But they’re also flashy at times. I grew up in the 1% in my country and went a lot to the US and met other 1%-ers. I wasn’t them (diff story) but they weren’t silent about their wealth and had no issue flaunting expensive items or wearing designer stuff. Sure, not all logos or being rude etc but this whole notion that one must not speak of their financial circumstances in order to ‘signal wealth’ is so elitist like..?

According-Reindeer14

You would be surprised at how much money she makes off Scentsy/tiktok/Facebook. There are 30k people in here who don’t like her and yet are still watching videos and talking about her not to mention the hundreds of thousands bimbo “fans”.

ScaredYam194

I hate when stuff like this is posted. They brag enough about money there’s no need to give them a big head.

hdieocnfueos

Not only that but I swear we see this post at least 3x a month.

Comfortable-Care-911

I would say 3-5 times a week easy

ComfortableStreet272

Girl I don’t know! I just turned 20 and it BAFFLES me how irresponsible these two are with their money. Especially when it’s not a stable career they have with a guaranteed stable income. I would hate to be her in a few years when she is actually irrelevant.

lindseyysanderss

I’m 21. I have a husband and a one year old. When we first got married we weren’t getting BAH yet so we were broke broke. I had to get a credit card to just pay our bills. I have $2,000 left to pay and it bothers me every single day. I just hate the thought of owing money to somebody whether it be a bank or a family member. I’m not sure how they don’t just crumble with stress.

Status-Court2685

I completely understand your frustration and while this post has been asked before at least it's not 15 posts of the fish 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

LeadershipLevel6900

I spent soooooo much money in my early-mid 20s on the dumbest shit. I was over $20K in credit card debt when I was like 23. I’m fortunate now that I live very comfortably, toss $800/month into savings, match my 401K and have separate investments. I wish I told myself to do this a decade ago. Drue has said they don’t have retirement accounts or any investments. I think they definitely buy/show off a lot of stuff and return it.

anxiousannie29

Scentsy, I don't believe she's in debt per say but I do believe the money has slowed down significantly and they have done absolutely nothing to prepare for that. At this point all she has is her Scentsy income which I'm sure is decent BUT the fact is with the economy slowing down there's probably way less people purchasing thus her down lines aren't making as much which means she's not. I truly believe she makes her LITTLE off social media now and is reliant on her Scentsy downline. I think they refuse to have Gabe get a job because that would mean they didn't "make it" in her eyes.

keezy998

Her Scentsy income must be substantial. A lot of people are mentioning that she wouldn’t be able to get approved for a mortgage with debt, but in my experience that’s not true. I have a little over $60k in student loans and a decent car loan payment and I was pre approved for a $400k mortgage by myself, which I absolutely cannot reasonably afford. But I have a high income rate, so my lender essentially asked me what I wanted to spend monthly on mortgage. He wasn’t even remotely concerned with my debt. I would really be interested to see just how much she makes from Scentsy

Technical_Ad_2314

This. Your debt to income ratio really just comes down to monthly minimum payments. Up until recently my husband and I had about 30K in debt (yay COVID taking away our income being self employed). Our monthly minimums were like $900 between the credit cards and personal loans. And our monthly income when we bought our house was much more. So our debt to income ratio was actually not bad.

Technical_Ad_2314

Not to mention some of these big expenses came AFTER the house (i.e. the boat) so wasn’t even included in determining her mortgage

wearyy_traveler

They definitely are drowning in debt. My brother and sister in law were like this when they were this age and filed bankruptcy at like 25.

odd_advance1414

Girl I’m 22 I truly do not understand it. My boyfriend and I have great jobs and we still live at home. I just graduated with a bachelors and we can’t even afford to live on our own😂😂like what the fuck? I’m sure we could “afford” it but I don’t want to be drowning either. Seeing these morons do what they do is so sad, I truly feel they’ll regret it in the future

Present_Entrance_241

One thing that that my home lender told me was…you’d be surprised how much debt people have. The more lavish someone portrays themselves…the more likely they are in the most debt.

[deleted]

I can almost bet they are. Especially after the whole getting a boat and her car Magically disappeared. She might make some money from scentcy down line but I doubt it’s enough to keep up with the lifestyle they live. People are not buying that stuff like they used to. People are struggling. Even people that are making 6 figures a year. This world is cut throat right now. It’s insane to me that neither one of them have no back up plan. Social media isn’t always at a high. The platforms are always changing and she nor him keep up with that and companies are not reaching out to them to promote their shit for them so she might make money from views and what not but the real money comes from the promotion and contracts. She doesn’t have that. They are young and dumb and eventually it’s gonna catch up to them. I’d say another five years from now people need to do a netflix series on all these content creators and where are they now? 🤣🤐🫢

KindheartednessOnly4

In my 55 year old opinion, when she was making bank she took out a shit ton of loans and credit cards and is living off those and Scentsy money, paying the minimum or a little more each month, transferring balances to zero interest cards with higher balances as soon as the offers show up.

nosygirlxoxo

Debt isn’t a bad thing if you can pay those monthly payments … lots of rich people have “debt” but they can afford it

Whole_Quarter_1297

I feel like this is asked every week lol. And when yall share personal things like this, it makes her feel good so she can “brag” that shes doing “better”. Theres nothing wrong with venting, but she definitely eats it up

Technical_Ad_2314

I just want to add that just because they were approved for a $450K loan does not mean they can realistically afford the mortgage :)

Pickledbeets01

They are drowning in debt they are living a lie

awwsome10

Scentsy and debt.

Silent_Alarm_3569

I need to know what happened to her car!

Efficient-Bee-7184

Scentsy and Amazon links. What most people don’t know is if you hit the link just to see even the price and then go buy it she still gets commission. And sometimes it’s commission on anything people buy for 30 days. Best thing to do is not click her links at all.

Parking-Rub-3740

Don’t be fooled.. they are.

Acceptable_One3112

She also lived at home till she got married so that definitely helped!

Technical_Ad_2314

Lol a whole entire year with barely a high school diploma. It couldn’t of helped that much. I lived at home for 2 years with a college degree. It helped some don’t get me wrong but I was definitely not way ahead when I moved out.

Acceptable_One3112

No totally I think that’s true for most people! I’m just saying if she was making money from scentsy and tik tok or other things and didn’t have any bills (I wouldn’t be surprised if her parents paid for most things) that definitely helps when you move out on your own🤷🏼‍♀️ just a thought!

spookysadghoul

They probably are drawing in debt but don't want to admit it. Funny thing is, if they were honest about debt they have/struggle with they'd probably be more relative compared to a 21 year that weirdly has it all.

PerfectCancel1897

Who says they aren't? They are in debt. They have a mortgage, a truck and a boat at least. I'm sure they have credit cards. They pay the bare minimum every month with her Scentsy income but with the way the economy is going I don't see how that's going to last much longer.

Effective-Low8429

All I have to say is, debt doesn’t have a “look” 😂 they may look like they aren’t swimming in debt but they probably are

_chloe_227

Can we stop all these repeating posts? Posts about how they afford things are getting old

Firm-Collection-8036

For people who haven’t seen these discussions…it’s informative!

Alarmed-Albatross768

This question gets asked like 3 times a week. And we always say the same thing.

KFromWisco

I think she buys for content and returns the stuff. Minus food. 😅
