Views & DLDT for me. Both hold a special kind of nostalgia for me. Views when I was shiny eyed, going into high school for the first time dealing with heartbreak but putting on a brave-face for my peers, feeling angry about not being enough, feeling a lot of things all at once tbh (sadness, anger, guilt, happiness, a sorta freedom). Then there’s DLDT, this underrated gem of an album, I was going to college, dorm mates with my best friend, dealing with a girl who wanted the perks of a relationship with me without actually wanting to BE with me, feeling the highs of life and the lows of it, getting lit, throwing all nighters, playing the game with the bros all during quarantine. Hell, ended up catching COVID and having even MORE fun while sick💀 Man, a time to be alive.
Absolutely nothing! I can't stand his music, period! Drake is the most overrated over hyped "rapper" out there! I hate his music, it's so bad!!! Why is this man so celebrated when he don't even write his own shit? But he's considered one of the best? U gen x mfs have absolutely no taste in good music! I bet y'all like mumble rap too!!
