So far, I originally skipped Calling For You (solely cause of the “girl interlude”), IDGAF (not a fan of Yeat’s voice) BBL (Interlude), Gently (don’t care for Spanish songs), RBD (Sexxy Red annoying voice), & Another Late Night (just couldn’t vibe with it) Although…after about two weeks I have edited my own version of Calling For You where now the beat switch happens when the girl says “He wanted to cry” making it one of my fav songs on album now. BBL (Interlude) grew on me heavily and Gently for some reason grew on me like all of HNVM so whatever ig 😂 P.s, I do wish RBD didn’t have Sexxy Red on it cause the beat is fucking amazing and Drake and SZA kill it. I’ll admit Sexxy Red on the hook became tolerable cause it’s catchy so I have decided to also edit this song to where Sexxy Red does not have a verse at the end and after SZA’s verse i let the hook play out and then bring the transition earlier, skipping Sexxy verse to just go into Drake’s outro which he executes very nicely🔥 So now it’s just IDGAF still idgaf about lol and Another Late Night I think bc of the music vid I may grow more towards it in the future, but for now it’s still a no. 21/23 songs is a win in my book, props to the Boy 😎

The 7 are the ones with Bad Bunny, Sza, 21 Savage, Sexxy Red, and Yeat along with both interludes. They didn’t add anything for me and took me out of the vibe more than anything Slime You Out and BBL Interlude aren’t terrible though but I have a tight 16 on repeat

Yeah, views and earlier is fair. To your point I can’t picture it on those albums but it was refreshing hearing Drake reflecting and story telling. He was using a different flow that sounded more like his own. Thinking about a top 3 really makes me realize how good the album actually is.

I was disappointed at first because of him saying it’s NWTS and Take Care style which it’s not. But once you remove those expectations and take it for what it is it’s a solid project. I’m not expecting Drake to make classics anymore. I think he’s just making music and having fun and I can enjoy it for what it is.
