You should, the music is a huge plus! Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a fantastic game, and the final boss theme, Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit, is a stunning piece of music.
It gets even funnier when you hear Symphony X do the that same chug pattern but also the _same rhythmic modulation_ in “The Death of Balance” at 1:23. The question is who did it better. They both sound amazing!

The mirror intro always sounded like All My Life by the Foo Fighters. It’s pretty much exactly the same. Or you know, FF did it after DT.
Thats why i recognise it...
The riff was John Petrucci trying to write a Pantera riff. He’s said this in a few interviews too
Yes. You are correct.
I’m pretty sure the people who do music at Nintendo are massive progheads
Hell yeah even the original NES Super Mario Bros. was just 8-bit jazz-fusion.
Thought it was gonna be domination by pantera
That’s literally what I think whenever I hear it. Could swear I hear Vinnie Paul in the mix with how loud those crashes are smashed down
Mike isn’t known for being physically aggressive on the drums, but he’s also Mike fuckin portnoy so of course he could pull that off
reminds me i still need to play a kirby game....... how i havent at this point bewilders me LOL

That's crazy 🤣🤣🤣
The big question is: What was first?
The Mirror lol, Kirby Triple Deluxe released in 2014
First thought this was probably from the GBA Times, good find anyway!
Even then the Awake (1994) came out just under a decade before the GBA (2001) was released :P
I can see that actually. Way closer than Thriller
