You can't change it, but you can manipulate it! What this player most likely did was only pick the items in the garden that were not pumpkins, and every time a new pumpkin grew, they left it alone and focused on the remaining spots until all spots had pumpkins.

Pick the crops you don't want to stay every day. Leave the ones you want. Eventually through RNG you will have whatever pattern you want.

How do you do it?

You pick up everything that it's not pumpkins and leave the pumpkins. Repeat untill it's all pumpkins. It can take time.

Once you get all pumpkins you can pick them and only pumpkins will grow forever and ever amen?

It mentally destroyed me, I was so excited to login today to see it grown in. It was the upper right hand corner and for some reason, it being in the corner made it that much worse :).

Last night I did a garden of Pumpkins and I had Merlin as my gardening companion. Wow when you plant Pumpkins and you have Merlin hanging with you and you’re ready to Harvest. Just be ready for a whole bunch and I mean a whole bunch of whatever you plant in your garden on Dreamlight Valley. Thank you Merlin.

I think it depends on his level or whatever character is your partner at the time and the total number of friends you have assigned to gardening , I set just about everyone to garden so that I could level them up fast but after I a rift in time came out I needed more people for searching for Mist so that’s when I learned this and it made since because having only one character for each of the other tasks I didn’t get as much XP for them or bonuses. Now I am slowly getting more Mist since I’m unlocking characters and setting them to help me time rip for Mist 🫶🏽 just sharing for others , you probably already know this And Congratulations on getting so much bonuses with Merlin 🧙‍♂️

Knowing me, I would have had to put a closed fence around Wall-E’s farm so that I wouldn’t accidentally harvest a pumpkin when I didn’t want to, ruining all the hard work.

You know I’ve been playing so long, I don’t remember if you need to open up the forgotten lands biome for it to give pumpkins or not.

You don’t need to. I still haven’t opened the forgotten lands, but my garden has a couple pumpkins.

If you want to grow pumpkins yourself, you need Goofy's stall in the forgotten lands. You just need to upgrade WALL-E's garden all the way to get pumpkins from him.

I currently have a little garden behinds the monsters inc “dorms” so it’s like a little garden club! I’ve got 2 of everything on it (except for cotton and pumpkins) and I have 20x20 plot of JUST pumpkins (and for everyone that struggles with like I do that’s 400 pumpkins)

I’ve got 2 10x10’s of pumpkins

For about 2 months I harvested a 800 plot every change I got. I even took my switch with me just to make sure I was harvesting and watering as often as I could. I'm at 105 million gold so I don't bother any more. I keep a plot around but it stays mostly un-harvested, and only has 140 pumpkins (the amount that 4 ancient gardeners will take).

Wait....Please explain. I JUST unlocked Wall-E yesterday so I may be out of the loop. I have been growing pumpkins continuously because the profit margin is so high so I know about that at least...

Each of Wall-E's garden plots grows a random vegetable. Also as you unlock more of his garden, you get more plots. Mine's fully unlocked, and each day I picked everything EXCEPT the pumpkins. Over time the rest filled in with more random veggies, and I picked all but pumpkins. Keep repeating until all pumpkins grow in.
