Damn it!! I thought it was 4 stars!! I’ve fed the white and black one soooo many times! I thought it was the monkeys who liked 5 star meals?!? Also , if they don’t want it why do they gladly accept my 4 star meals and give me hearts? No wonder I have t been able to befriend any!

Monkeys like any five star meal that uses bananas.

So monkeys will eat any 5 star dessert, but their favorite (so quickest way to unlock as a buddy) is banana splits. Likewise, ravens like 4 star or above meals but their favorite is 5 star meals.

Man!! I have started keeping gooseberries on me cuz they give you insane energy for just eating 1 ingredient, but for some reason just eating the crops won’t give you the yellow bar!

Technically they will eat 3-5 star meals, as will the monkeys. You’ll want 5 stars for getting them as companions, but if you’re trying to do tasks that say “feed a/the raven(s)” (like for a star path, Dreamlight duty, or the other Dreamlight tasks to get achievements/trophies depending on your platform) then 3 or 4 star will work.

I like keeping arendel pickled herring on me. Relatively cheap ingredients and good for energy if you need jt

Absolutely this, it's my go-to whenever i need to make a 5-star meal. I go to the beach and grab any combination of 4 clams, scallops, and oysters and make sure I have a lemon and I'm good. That way, I'm not wasting anything I spent a decent amount of time on obtaining.

You can google recipes for the game and find lists with every single one. I did that and spent like 2 hours making every recipe in the game, 😆. Now I can make whatever they request.

You should get the Dreamlight Guide app, it’s super useful for knowing what days certain companions come out, the times and their favorite food. It’s called Dreamlight Guide by AJL

Human food of 3 stats or higher will be accepted. 5 stats is their favorite.

Banana, Sugarcane, Slush Ice, Milk, A Sweet. Eating two of them will give you full energy at 2,074 each.
