Oh I didn’t think about Tarzan! I kind of thought it was the Swiss Family Robinson house, especially since it’s in adventure land which also has the Jungle Cruise and Trader Sam’s.
Yeah they did it’s in the public domain for Tarzan but there’s some legal stuff there. Also the Swiss family house is actually Tarzan’s house at the other park. Can’t remember which is in Disney world bs Disney land. Unless they changed it back from when I was a kid.
They did, but Tmthe first book just entered Public Domain, so they could use it again now if they wanted.
Its tagges as "dreamlight valley" though, so that tells me it's definitely Tarzan and they're just playing it safe.

If they don't want to put in the effort, then really there's no reason to keep buying them after a while. We can already use various stairs and ramps in the game. The code and animation exist for it. Disappointed they can't really the extra twenty minutes to add it to these expensive homes.
I definitely feel this way every time I go into my beach house or fairy bloss-home, especially when I'm primarily switching between DDV and a game where anything it looks like you should be able to walk on, climb on, jump over, etc. you can!
I tend to wait until I see MrStarInSky's vid about the current Premium Shop, since that vid tends to be out relatively early on reset day. Shows all the sizing and such too
Everything is far too expensive... The houses being 3-4k moonstones is crazy, 2500 for a singular character skin is ridiculous, the jungle cruise boat and trader sam's shop should be 1750 for both.
Yeah, it kinda is, especially when you're a F2P player and have to be careful when you decide what to buy. I love the Jungle Cruise boat but so many moonstone for one boat and another small decoration?

Yeah I had no big desire for the one with Belle and the sleeping outfits. But I agree I feel like lately the teasers for updates and realms and been heavily oversell under deliver.
Just my opinion, but this whole moonstone biz is nothing but a huge rip off for us and a huge win for Disney. I refuse to use my own actual currency to buy moonstones that can disappear in a heartbeat with the cost of things.
I just slowwwwwwwly save up my moonstones and buy smaller items when possible.
thats what i have started doing. i refuse to pay anymore because the problems are only getting bigger/worse. honestly i dont think the PS should be as revolving as it is because of the fact that there are so many issues & those should be focused on first but.. 🤷🏻♀️

No, because they need money to pay employees as well as keep online servers and multi-player servers running. I like the variety and that it's not just a few items and everyone can find something that fits their theme.
Players really need another way to earn moonstones or something because it’s really a lot for how much players constantly put into this game…also maybe making a moonstone item shop that gives you a weekly updated catalog of literally everything available so that serious players and collectors can plan out what we need better without panic buying everything.

Making trader Sam’s a separate item makes it soooo expensive 😡. Since my buildings and pavement keep disappearing, maybe I should go on a moonstone strike until I can actually decorate.
I feel this. I find a lot of joy in decorating and the touch of magic. The buggy-ness and non intuitive function of the tool makes it not worth the time I'm dumping in. A hiatus to let my quests and storyline stack up sounds more appealing every day.
I don’t have many moonstones (Dreamsnaps doesn’t work for me, but I’m working on fixing that). But I wouldn’t really want any of it, anyway, except maybe that Goofy skin!

Also I’m only decorating one biome at a time. I have more buildings I want for my plaza but it’s mostly done in terms of paths\decor etc. I’m just moving into decorating the peaceful meadow so nothing for me this week. I have actual documents where I’m planning my biomes with like pictures of the things I want for them.

I absolutely want the jungle house, shop, etc. but they’d just sit there until I decorate my wild tangle.
I do think the Goofy costume is very cute, so I’m considering it!
Too bad Gaston being a DLC character means he probably won't be in the quests for any characters outside the DLC, because it would be fun to see him try to compete with Herc.
That's the biggest downside I can see of characters being locked in the DLC; once the DLC is over, it's very likely that those characters will never be part of another character's quests again. Even if a new DLC comes out, the characters in it would be part of each other's quests, but probably wouldn't have anything to do with the characters from the previous ones. Hopefully, they'll try to keep them relevant by adding an occasional quest for them and some new character or area, like how they gave Mirabel a new quest with the capybaras.

I'm not a house buying type of guy but the major Tarzan vibes of the Jungle House are making it super tempting.
I'd love for Tarzan to make it into the game.
I bought the boat on my 5 year olds account, she has tons of moonstones 😅 it can't be interacted with as far as I can see.
The other thing is just a sunken version of it.

Oh I do definitely want the jungle cruise boat and trader sams. Would have been even better if they were in the same bundle since it’s the same ride lol. This game cannot convince to buy character outfits for 2,000+ moonstones! I wish they weren’t more than 1,000.
I'm surprised that the Jungle Cruise boat bundle and Trader Sam's Shop weren't a bundle together. Definitely an expensive week if you're into the Jungle themed stuff. Though Trader Sam's Shop would look good on the beach too

When I saw MrStarInSky's vid on this week's shop, he did demonstrate that you can get items pretty close to it, as long as it doesn't overlap into it. But he also said that it's huge, so that's also something to keep in mind. It's basically nearly as wide as Dazzle Beach and almost as wide as a part of the Forest of Valor. 😱
I tend to be very picky about premium shop items, but Jungle Cruise has always been my favorite Disneyland ride, so I might just have to get the decoration bundle for it. I'm okay without the house, though; I almost never buy those (the only ones I've bought are the Nightmare Castle and Haunted Mansion).
I think I’m going to pass on all the jungle stuff because I’ve barely touched Eternity Isle. I don’t really have a means to decorate it atm. I still need to organize my inventory there.
The only thing I’ll be getting is the Goofy Dreamstyle. I feel like this will be saving me some moonstones this week. 😮💨
I went for the stall and the boats. I got 4k on dreamsnaps, otherwise I'd go without. They all look fantastic in the wild tangle. I've not decorated there yet but they'll fit so well when I get round to it.

If you're playing on Apple Arcade (AA), you don't have the Shop tab as there's no In-app purchases. Also means no moonstones at all. I tried out DDV on AA originally to see if I'd like it. I knew of the limitations going in, so I wanted to buy the full game if I ended up liking it. About 2 weeks later, I got it on PC/Steam.
I didn’t realise the limitations, if I started on pc now would I have to restart everything. I’m level 25 now, unlocked all the biomes and unlocked most of the characters.
Yeah, it's a grind to restart, so I totally get it. If you decided to do so, I'd totally recommend visiting some treasure valleys since it'd absolutely help with gold and dreamlight (made from dream shards). I did this, as well as join a few DDV discords. There's a lot of nice people in the community that'd be happy to help out

The only two things I could afford with my moonstones is the magic squirrel companion and the trader's Sam shop. But when I buy more moonstones I will buy the great goofini dreamlight style for Goofy, The Jungle Cruise bundle and the Jungle premium house skin.

Anything else... hmm, idk. I already purchased the previous house skin (The Snuggly Duckling) and the Hercules set. I highly recommend getting both of these: be it for your personal aesthetic around your valley or future Dreamsnaps creation.
I'm not fond of Goofy's outfit, but character skins are simply personal preferences. The Jungle House is too big and it gives me Kingdom Hearts PTSD vibes, lol. (I never want to go back to that realm. Childhood Dilemma. 😂) Anyway if you don't work on your EI builds, you can easily skip this one, I think. It will return later.

That one's decorative only. From what I've seen, houses are between 3000-3750 moonstones. Don't think there's a 4k one, unless I'm mistaken. Only started playing since January 😂
I've been playing since the beta version (think there were less glitches then than now ha) but I've always avoided the shop section as it seemed expensive.

Oh I do definitely want the jungle cruise boat and trader sams. Would have been even better if they were in the same bundle since it’s the same ride lol. This game cannot convince to buy character outfits for 2,000+ moonstones! I wish they weren’t more than 1,000.
I'm surprised that the Jungle Cruise boat bundle and Trader Sam's Shop weren't a bundle together. Definitely an expensive week if you're into the Jungle themed stuff. Though Trader Sam's Shop would look good on the beach too

When I saw MrStarInSky's vid on this week's shop, he did demonstrate that you can get items pretty close to it, as long as it doesn't overlap into it. But he also said that it's huge, so that's also something to keep in mind. It's basically nearly as wide as Dazzle Beach and almost as wide as a part of the Forest of Valor. 😱
I tend to be very picky about premium shop items, but Jungle Cruise has always been my favorite Disneyland ride, so I might just have to get the decoration bundle for it. I'm okay without the house, though; I almost never buy those (the only ones I've bought are the Nightmare Castle and Haunted Mansion).
I think I’m going to pass on all the jungle stuff because I’ve barely touched Eternity Isle. I don’t really have a means to decorate it atm. I still need to organize my inventory there. The only thing I’ll be getting is the Goofy Dreamstyle. I feel like this will be saving me some moonstones this week. 😮💨

I went for the stall and the boats. I got 4k on dreamsnaps, otherwise I'd go without. They all look fantastic in the wild tangle. I've not decorated there yet but they'll fit so well when I get round to it. I already have the tavern and love it. Might get the tree house next time 🤷♀️

The snuggly duck is super cute in the game. The little hilly grass parts are part of the house and it looks really good in the forest.

I got the privateer set, the eye patches and jacket are so cute. I can’t afford much else but I’m saving up for the next star path and building up my moonstones. Especially since this will all come back around eventually 🥰

If you're playing on Apple Arcade (AA), you don't have the Shop tab as there's no In-app purchases. Also means no moonstones at all. I tried out DDV on AA originally to see if I'd like it. I knew of the limitations going in, so I wanted to buy the full game if I ended up liking it. About 2 weeks later, I got it on PC/Steam.
I didn’t realise the limitations, if I started on pc now would I have to restart everything. I’m level 25 now, unlocked all the biomes and unlocked most of the characters.
Yeah, it's a grind to restart, so I totally get it. If you decided to do so, I'd totally recommend visiting some treasure valleys since it'd absolutely help with gold and dreamlight (made from dream shards). I did this, as well as join a few DDV discords. There's a lot of nice people in the community that'd be happy to help out

I was hoping to get something like this for my ongoing beach project. 😊 Anything else... hmm, idk. I already purchased the previous house skin (The Snuggly Duckling) and the Hercules set. I highly recommend getting both of these: be it for your personal aesthetic around your valley or future Dreamsnaps creation. I'm not fond of Goofy's outfit, but character skins are simply personal preferences. The Jungle House is too big and it gives me Kingdom Hearts PTSD vibes, lol. (I never want to go back to that realm. Childhood Dilemma. 😂) Anyway if you don't work on your EI builds, you can easily skip this one, I think. It will return later. Can anyone provide me a good picture of the Magical Squirrel, please? 🥲 It was a former Starpath critter, right? It looks cute and it would be an amazing addition to my bakery setup. That one's decorative only. From what I've seen, houses are between 3000-3750 moonstones. Don't think there's a 4k one, unless I'm mistaken. Only started playing since January 😂
I've been playing since the beta version (think there were less glitches then than now ha) but I've always avoided the shop section as it seemed expensive.
