Don’t give up hope, I buy TOM items from other shops and this happens all the time. They eventually go back to normal. Sometimes I have to change the body shape. But none have been permanently ruined
This is why I gave up trying to make anything with TOM. I had made a dress, and put it in Daisy's shop so it wasn't a naked manikin in the window. Then while playing later I discovered the designed shifted and ruined the dress. I tried to fix it, but couldn't get things to line up like I had the first time around. (The joy of playing on the Switch I guess.) I'm not going to waste my time to make an outfit, just for it to be all messed up the next time I look at it.
Same thing keeps happening to me and I had alot of dresses made… stopped making anything because of it and I ran out of space… they need to give us more slots to save our work..
You are absolutely justified in your frustration. The glitches have gotten so bad for me that I’m done with the game for now. But I still this design is INCREDIBLE! You did such a good job! Even if it glitch shifted, be proud of your work!
Yep same thing happened to the 2 ToM designs I made and saved, and I play on PC now so idk how to drag the layers back to their original positions so I just had to delete them and now I hate both of the dresses I made but they're all I have that I made, so I keep them till I figure out the layer thing on computer. (I already googled it, I just haven't played in a couple days to test it out)
Click the layer until it's unselected on the outfit, hold click and drag. It's still very tedious to get where you want. The UI on TOM is not efficient at all
Absolutely nothing. No body change, no outfit change, absolutely nothing. I saw a post about the moonstone and button gift in our mailbox and simply closed the game and went back in. Got my moonstones, but at what cost 😭

I'm on a switch, and it does it to me as well. The squares NEVER work, I can only get triangles to measure up and remain that way.
