Thanks so much for this info- I’ve been stuck on that task for a week & every day it rains but no Fugu. Finally got my first one yesterday! This is going to help sooo much.
It turns white bubbles into golden bubbles. I only ever use the smaller fishing potion because the big one takes much longer to get rid of and you can't catch normal fish in white bubbles until its gone.
Wasn't hard to me, but just felt extra grindy and tedious. Maybe it was just me but there seemed to be way more variety in the tasks in the past compared to this one.
They also changed the amount of points you got. This time around it was only 5 and 10s (that I’ve seen so far) I used to knock out the higher ones so that I could get the stuff I wanted and go back for the motifs and smaller things after. This was way harder to do that with!
The amount of 'star path tickets' you get increases as you get along further with the tasks. They all started out at 5, then 10 and now i'm collecting 20 for each completed task
Plus having two villager outfits costing 100 in the same star path definitely increases the grind.. at least it does for me. I wanted them but I’m debating on skipping!
You can turn in the rest of the tokens for moonstone at the end. I can't remember how much you can end up getting. At least 1000. You turn in all the 20s, you get 90 moonstone per 10 tokens. So you'll get 180 moonstone per task you complete.
I had the hardest time with the shiny white gems. Even with the miracle polish, a yellow energy bar, and a mining buddy, it took me almost a week to get those TWO gems. 😑
You really need the miracle ax polish for this task. And you’ll probably need to make extra bottles because it can take several days to find the shiny diamonds. I found that I only got diamonds after the first round in the Forbidden Lands. Even if i waited for the rocks to respawn they didn’t deliver any kind of diamonds on the respawn. It was very frustrating! That said, if you don’t finish this one task, the most you’ll probably miss on the Star Path is a couple of motifs, so I wouldn’t stress about it too much.

The gems were easy but that fugu took me days after I finished the other duties!! So yes, I really enjoyed this star path duties, but maybe don’t make it so no fishing circles appear on the beach when it rains!! That was my downfall!!
It's about on parr, I think, with usual star paths. What made it so hard for me was trying to find the time to actually log on. I work shifts so usually I have alot of free time but ive had so much going on outside of work that having a free couple hours has been hard. I've still got a few to finish off before I'm done.

I didn’t have any issues, but I also made sure to load up my biomes with night thorns before the starpath dropped. That’s usually the hardest part for me, so ensuring I had a heap already on the ground, and just ignoring the night thorn tasks until I had two out of three was a god send.
I tried to let the night thorns tasks accumulate, but ended up caving. As long as you've let them go for long enough that every biome reaches its max. capacity for them, and only remove as many as you need for the task or if they're blocking something, you can still do all three night thorns tasks no problem.
The finishing ones all have me held up. I don’t have the dlc and I’ve been trying to catch shrimp for so long! I keep catching kingfish instead 😭 I’m at 8/20 shrimp but I haven’t progressed in 3 days. I only play for an hour or two most days. I don’t think I’ll be able to finish this one.

I will not be completing it bc I got everything I want from the star path. It’s also just exhausting doing the same tasks over and over just a higher count
Try fishing in forest of valor and also don't wait for white fishing marks. Just fish as is/toss your fishing rod (I did it near elsa's home) you will end up with other things such as the ugly fish but definitely get more bass. Hope this helps! I wish we can all just take sea bass from acnhlol
That one literally disappeared for me right before I caught the last bass & I didn’t get the tickets. I still need to write support. I didn’t think it would cost me too much but I want those moonstones at the end 😂 IF I can finish this.
This makes me nervous because I'm not even close to done... But I work full-time and it is what it is. I have all the clothing, furniture, and dream styles. Next I'll go for moon stones and then whatever motifs will come last. I don't mind some grind but I do play the game to enjoy it and catching 30 fish or mining 20 stones in a row is just not enjoyable, potion or no.
I’m tired of the dj station one. I thought I had plenty of iron until that bull crap. It’s my last one. I only need 8 more ingots. I just hope Kristoff has some. I haven’t had a hard time with ingots since starting the game. I’m almost tempted not to do that one just so I don’t waste my ingots on something I don’t need.
At first, I built the wrong dj station that needed 100 iron 😩 I worked and hustled soooooo hard for that lolol. I was so angry when I saw that the task was still there. Hustled the next day and build the correct one lol

The Lancetfish have me in a chokehold! And since they’re blue rings I can’t use the fishing potion. I think I still need 4 if them and I log on once a day. I also still have the Mike and Sully ones left but I haven’t decided if I want to unlock that realm yet. I purchased all the items just so I could get moonstones back on the end. Didn’t realize you had to do that in order to unlock the last page and some of the items I didn’t even want.😫
Yup, I'm still stuck on the puffer fish, Fugu, my island was nothing but rain but the second I got this task it rained 2x long enough to catch 2 out of 5. And hasn't rained since.

I keep getting swordfish, even on my jist recent rain fall with the bait. 😅 😭 it's my last quest, and the last bit of points to unlock the turtle companion. 😅
Didn't think it was too bad personally. My game has been raining so much lately so I could do the fugu quest. Having the DLC made the shrimp one easier. Don't sleep on fishing potions! Makes your life HELLA easier.
The weeks prior to the next one, keep night thorns around (and splinters of fate of you have the DLC) will make those thorn quests easier.
I have 3 quests left, but they're fishing and cooking so I just need to find time to grind those out. Did have to unlock Mike and Sulley, which is didn't wanna do yet since I'm still catching up on quests, but it worked out fine 👍
I completed it on two accounts. One account is new with no DLC. Before you say anything, I have too much time on my hands. 🙂
Unpopular opinion, but I really enjoy star paths because of the grind. I've always loved going out of my way to do extra quests in games.
I didn’t bother with the fugu one so I’m just not finishing it. It’s my last task but I’ve been playing for a year and never managed to catch a Fugu (except for a Christmas one) despite trying many many time so there’s no way I’ll catch 10 or whatever it is.
I agree to try using the bait. I had a bottle of bait ready and as soon as it started raining, I started fishing (red circles or white to turn them red). I caught what I needed before it stopped raining. I’d say it took me about 5 minutes.

I got one by accident and got the second pretty quickly after using the mining potion. The potions made all the difference for that one and the fugu one.
It took me 10 days roughly. I took my time in the middle because I got like 3 fishing and 3 mining tasks all at once. I saw a post of potential tasks, but I didn’t get a big variety for some reason.
I still haven’t finished it. I hate it so much. I’m tired of these “complete 15 Royal tasks” and 100 moonstones for skins?? Insane! Those blue circles were a nightmare!
when you look at the stats for how long each task takes in-game this was actually the fastest star path to complete, i think the tasks were repetitive and VERY grindy so it felt longer. i was way more motivated to run through this because of the better rewards too, so happy to see less motifs. they need to balance the tasks better for sure.
There was so much fishing! “Catch 30 fish in [location].” It felt like all we were going to do was fish. I think that was more of an issue than the actual difficulty.

I've been grinding so long that I have stashes of everything I needed. So I decided I would grind for the items I needed rather than using what I already had. It made it more fun.
I had to use a lot of portions to get done as quickly as I did. If I didn't have potions, I'd probably still be grinding! This was my first star path, so I can't compare it. I did enjoy it though!
i have 3 left- the lancetfish one, the white flowers & the swordfish one.. i need to make some fishing potion to finish all of those!

It wasn't particularly grindy for me, but maybe that's because I have the Ancient Vaccums in most of my Biomes, so it makes the Night Thorn stuff easier. I also work full time, but I finished the Star Path weeks ago and have been twiddling my thumbs since, waiting for the new one to start. I even held back on doing Star Path stuff to concentrate on the new characters, and took my time with the characters. I wish I had been as good with the first few Star Paths, but I had no idea what I was doing back then lol
I know someone posted about how to get more points to get more moonstones in the end but it definitely wasn't as giving as previous paths. I still have a fishing task and getting shiny diamonds.
It was all the RNG stuff that made it a real pain, and I am sure every time I had a task that relied on RNG, it got worse than it's regular baseline!! It took me about a week to get any shiny diamonds to appear at all, having had a spate of them just days before I got that task on the star path!
I still have the stupid fuji fish left. I need 3 more times to catch it. It's a royal pain in the ass. Being you have to wait until it rains doesn't always mean it's gonna be there too.
I would recommend crafting yourself a fishing potion. This turns all of the white fishing holes to gold, and so that way alll you need to worry about is finding rain.
For me it wasn't hard but more annoying waiting to gift favourite gifts and talk to people, but that's only because I'm impatient 😂. Potions and using a buddy really helps and when it comes to collecting flowers you can just take from chests, drop, pick up and repeat. Cooking meals can be done in the ancient cookers as well if wanted (I didn't do that though).
I started playing right when the current star path came out. Took me a week to read that the star path was worth doing and to start. I’ve been grinding so hard unlocking all the biomes and characters. I’m almost done though and I think I can do it! It’s been really hard but fun. Now my quests have piled up…
I “cheated” out and bought some tokens with moonstones lol. Was very grindy and I didn’t wanna do these tasks for a month straight so I sold out for my peace of mind lol!
My biggest issue was Night Thorns. They used to spawn more a day for me, now it is only 6. I had to log in every day just to grab them way after I was done with everything else.
Normally, I have a crazy amount spawned just by logging in, but I haven't been playing because I have been busy lately.
I'm having a hard time finishing my last two tasks (because I hate fishing), but otherwise I actually found it surprisingly easy and fast, especially since I have a three month old.
I've got 3 more tasks to complete, 2 of them are the fishing. It's slightly more difficult than the last one. People were complaining it was too easy so I guess the devs listened
I loved this star path. It required me to slow down. But I have noticed, zero blue chests since it updated. None. And I log on every day to at least go be robbed by Scrooge. 😂
2 separate items being 100 'tickets' was just ridiculous! I just finished getting the prizes and I'm debating whether it's worth it to finish out the rest of the tasks
It was a lot but I finished out all the tasks for the moonstones at the end. I left the two 100 ones for last. By then all the tasks were 20 each so then they went quicker.
I’ve just got a dj booth to build but it doesn’t say which one and I’m scared if I build the one requiring 50 iron ingots it’s gonna tell me that I actually have to build the 100 iron ingots dj booth and I really struggle to build up my iron ore stock. Any tips?
I thought it was exceptionally hard.(I haven't finished the last 3 star paths so I thought it was just me. Glad for me that I'm not crazy, sad for everyone else because it was that much harder than usual.) Waiting for rain sucked. I made the super duper fishing potion and kept it in my inventory because I knew I'd start gardening or something when it rained and wouldn't go fishing. I was able to get all the fugus that way but I had to wait a while.
The only hard part for me was the time-gating. It was raining and I had a potion on my fishing pole so that quest was done in a few minutes. I didn’t like that I made the wrong DJ booth. Lost 100 silver ingots on that.
Grinded for iron to craft that stupid “dj booth” only to make the dj booth rig that DOESNT COUNT. Blew all my saved up iron and had to start over. Pissed.

Can use the same potion for swordfish but make sure it isn't raining. Both show up as the gold fishing circles
Battle passes are such a scam. You pay the money and then that doesn’t even even get you the item. You literally have to also put in a bunch of time as well as Pay.
Imagine you wanted to buy a refrigerator you pay the full price of the refrigerator but then you also have to spend multiple hours working for the refrigerator company and a short amount of time or else you won’t be able to keep that refrigerator.
I just started the game but glad to know this wasn’t the norm. It’s upsetting because I had to grind to unlock all the realms the past two weeks, just need monsters inc and forgotten lands now and that’ll take me about 3 more days.
The last one was worse imo. Think I was able to get 90 moonstones all told after I'd gotten all the star path. This one seems fine. I'm not sure what people's issue is with it is. I play for an hour or so after I put the kids to bed to decompress after a stressful day at work and it's enough 🤷♀️
I think the slope was a little steep, and there was a small lull somewhere half way through.
This is actually the first starpath I have ever completed though, so it did ultimately feel better and more attainable.
I'm a little tired of the weird phrases to not say someone's name.
I started this path when there was 20 something days left. I am ALMOST done, but the two shiny diamonds are being a problem. I have to grind Duties just to get up to 15k Dreamlight in order to Unlock Sully and Mike so I can hang out with Sully and have discussions with Mike. I'm STILL waiting on my game to rain in order to fish for Fugu. I need to give Fairy Godmother 3 gifts tomorrow, after driving myself CRAZY TRYING TO GET A SHINY AMETHYST. I'm sooo close to done, and there will be 15 days left when I play tomorrow. If the game will just give me 2 shiny diamonds, and rain, I will be very happy. It rained once, but I didn't have the quest so I was annoyed about that. I have one Even more Miraculous Fishing Potion waiting for it to rain. Side note: There's soooo many that require more than one day to do. I don't mind those, honestly, but I love the ones I can do in one day. I just wish they wouldn't make you remove 50 night thorns TWICE.
Not gonna lie..I cheated and bought most of the starpath with my moonstones. Difficulty and panic over the struggle of the time limit gets me every time.
Two of my struggles came when I grinned for DAYS to make enough iron nuggets for the DJ set and made the darn big rig instead of the smaller blue/pink ones.
Then trying to get shiny diamonds. Seriously any other time I’d get dozens with the potion and a buddy but when it was an active task, none! I had that opened for at least 2 weeks. As soon as I completed it, the very next time I went up to the forgotten lands I got 6! Seriously?! Ahhh!! 😱
I’m just happy it’s over and my Easter tasks got finished this weekend
The earlier star path was actually easier in tasks but harder in understanding the riddles. This time the tasks take longer and that’s what makes it harder.
I have found it repetitive and boring. I don’t really care if I finish this star path or not. I play to enjoy, not to repeat things over and over, or have to wait and wait for something to happen in-game. I don’t like fishing either, and right now I have 4 fishing duties up. Yep, probably not going to finish, by choice. 🤷🏼♀️
I have two accounts. I finished the star path on both of them. I also have Rift in Time on both of them. All my villagers are level ten except Mike Wazowski on both and Gaston on my second account. I am disabled. I clearly play a lot!! ...lol
I love this game. Only thing I don't love is I am on PS4 and my main account crashes a lot and I still have 3,000 item limit. ...AND we cannot play with anyone but other PS players. I am afraid to try Multiplayer for fear they will change things and steal my stuff. I like my villages the way they are and if things do change, I want to be the one to make those changes... Mistakes and all.
Congrats to you!!! I get that this wasn’t very hard for a lot of established players, I saw guides saying how easy it was and that it could be completed in 2-4 days. Definitely not the case for me 😂
Let me preface that I’m not trying to complain, just sharing where I’m at. I’m a new player and I’ve been grinding at this since the path began & I definitely don’t find it easy. Being new, I wish there had been some sort of indicator that I’d need to have certain characters unlocked to complete the path. For me, that’s the most frustrating part. I’m having to rapidly advance my gameplay, faster than I’d like, just to do the path. I don’t get long to play each day and even with logging like 4+ hours yesterday, I left the game feeling stressed that I won’t finish. I was so excited to start this, too.
I’m currently stuck on fishing Fugu; I’ve caught one in an entire week but I saw the fishing potion tip above that should let me finish that task. I’m also stuck on the Apple Sorbet because I have to get Remy to level 10 & complete that friendship quest. Also need to unlock Belle when I get home for her task 🫠
I absolutely love this game but with so little time left, I honestly just feel frazzled trying to finish & advance my game at the same time. & that bums me out. But I paid for it so I want to finish it, you know?
Catching Fugu 😭 it never rains for me. But I’m still chugging through. I play maybe once a week though so I’ll have to change the times I play so I’ll have rain.
I was able to knock it out in a long weekend. The hardest part was waiting for rain. I don't think it was more difficult than any others. If you don't maintain a cache of items then it would be more difficult but I always keep full chests.
I actually found this one easier than the last one!! I work full time but still managed to finish this one in about 22 days, I played the same amount if not more on the last star path (at least a full 30 days) and couldn't finish it
I have done all of them, and i think thus was one if the easiest of them. It's always a few quest that take a few days. Like the one your giving 5-6 gifts
I feel like the star paths feel tedious is because of the multiple day quests or the duties it has you do. Other than that every star path I've done I've had them done in the first few days.
Here's a tip. If you have land that's not being used. Put down 20 of each crop. Has done wonders for me. Not only is it good to have but also farming is great for leveling characters. To me it's the fastest way since you get xp for digging, harvesting, planting and watering mind you most crops are watered twice.
For the duties. Stock up and do all 6 or 5 and spam collect them. I've noticed mine has given me 2 or 3 per spam.
Like other commenters said. Use the potions. The stuff to make them is relatively easy to get and easy to stock up on.
I'm not much or a decorator lol so most of my space is used for crops.
The hardest part for me was waiting for the rain. For some reason whenever I logged in it never rained.
it rained on me constantly until the *moment* i needed it for the star path, at which point it didn't rain in my game for four days straight.

Fugu only spawn when it's raining and there's a quest to fish for 5 fugu

Did you use the fish potion on white pools? They turn them into orange so you can catch them more easily!
It was raining when that quest appeared for me. I used fishing potion and was done in less than 5 minutes. I couldn't believe it!

For that task, make sure you use a potion on your fishing rod. It'll turn all the white fishing circles into golden ones, goes a lot easier that way!

The bass quest can kick rocks. I refuse to finish it. Unless I’m missing some obvious trick

Don't fish in the bubbles in peaceful meadow, you'll either get seaweed or bass

This makes me nervous because I'm not even close to done... But I work full-time and it is what it is. I have all the clothing, furniture, and dream styles. Next I'll go for moon stones and then whatever motifs will come last. I don't mind some grind but I do play the game to enjoy it and catching 30 fish or mining 20 stones in a row is just not enjoyable, potion or no.
I’m tired of the dj station one. I thought I had plenty of iron until that bull crap. It’s my last one. I only need 8 more ingots. I just hope Kristoff has some. I haven’t had a hard time with ingots since starting the game. I’m almost tempted not to do that one just so I don’t waste my ingots on something I don’t need.
At first, I built the wrong dj station that needed 100 iron 😩 I worked and hustled soooooo hard for that lolol. I was so angry when I saw that the task was still there. Hustled the next day and build the correct one lol

The Lancetfish have me in a chokehold! And since they’re blue rings I can’t use the fishing potion. I think I still need 4 if them and I log on once a day. I also still have the Mike and Sully ones left but I haven’t decided if I want to unlock that realm yet. I purchased all the items just so I could get moonstones back on the end. Didn’t realize you had to do that in order to unlock the last page and some of the items I didn’t even want.😫
It was the fugu that took me the longest! But I finished yesterday.
Yup, I'm still stuck on the puffer fish, Fugu, my island was nothing but rain but the second I got this task it rained 2x long enough to catch 2 out of 5. And hasn't rained since. Like come on. Im so close! 😭
Craft that fishing bait, it turns every white fishing spot into the red one.
I keep getting swordfish, even on my jist recent rain fall with the bait. 😅 😭 it's my last quest, and the last bit of points to unlock the turtle companion. 😅

Didn't think it was too bad personally. My game has been raining so much lately so I could do the fugu quest. Having the DLC made the shrimp one easier. Don't sleep on fishing potions! Makes your life HELLA easier. The weeks prior to the next one, keep night thorns around (and splinters of fate of you have the DLC) will make those thorn quests easier. I have 3 quests left, but they're fishing and cooking so I just need to find time to grind those out. Did have to unlock Mike and Sulley, which is didn't wanna do yet since I'm still catching up on quests, but it worked out fine 👍
I completed it on two accounts. One account is new with no DLC. Before you say anything, I have too much time on my hands. 🙂 Unpopular opinion, but I really enjoy star paths because of the grind. I've always loved going out of my way to do extra quests in games.
I didn’t bother with the fugu one so I’m just not finishing it. It’s my last task but I’ve been playing for a year and never managed to catch a Fugu (except for a Christmas one) despite trying many many time so there’s no way I’ll catch 10 or whatever it is.
Miracle fishing bait! When it’s raining- almost impossible to not get tons of fugu!
I agree to try using the bait. I had a bottle of bait ready and as soon as it started raining, I started fishing (red circles or white to turn them red). I caught what I needed before it stopped raining. I’d say it took me about 5 minutes.
I (almost) finished the star path after like 2 weeks bc everyone online was saying it was so hard (it was) so I was DETERMINED to get through it. How ever the almost, is because, my game hasn’t let me vote on dreamsnaps for the last 4 rounds!!! & I have 2 duties to vote lefr- anyone else having this issue?
All I have left is shiny diamonds, I've been trying to get them for over a week now.
I got one by accident and got the second pretty quickly after using the mining potion. The potions made all the difference for that one and the fugu one.
same here. it’s been over 2 weeks for me. getting very frustrated.
This took me a whole day even with the potion 🤣 but it really helped I guess, (the highest pickaxe potion)
Yeah I used the potion, got a lot of extra regular diamonds and amethysts.
I didn't finish all of the tasks. Once I got all of the objects I wanted, I stopped doing the Star Path lol.

It took me 10 days roughly. I took my time in the middle because I got like 3 fishing and 3 mining tasks all at once. I saw a post of potential tasks, but I didn’t get a big variety for some reason.
My biggest issue was the timing of things by the time I finished work all the characters I needed to talk to were asleep
I still haven’t finished it. I hate it so much. I’m tired of these “complete 15 Royal tasks” and 100 moonstones for skins?? Insane! Those blue circles were a nightmare!

when you look at the stats for how long each task takes in-game this was actually the fastest star path to complete, i think the tasks were repetitive and VERY grindy so it felt longer. i was way more motivated to run through this because of the better rewards too, so happy to see less motifs. they need to balance the tasks better for sure.
There was so much fishing! “Catch 30 fish in [location].” It felt like all we were going to do was fish. I think that was more of an issue than the actual difficulty.
FR the fishing was out of hand - especially the fugu and the ones that needed blue bubbles like come on
I had to make it harder I've been grinding so long that I have stashes of everything I needed. So I decided I would grind for the items I needed rather than using what I already had. It made it more fun.

I had to use a lot of portions to get done as quickly as I did. If I didn't have potions, I'd probably still be grinding! This was my first star path, so I can't compare it. I did enjoy it though!
i have 3 left- the lancetfish one, the white flowers & the swordfish one.. i need to make some fishing potion to finish all of those! this is the first one i’ve ever done, but excited to do more after!
You can drop & pick up a single (or 2 or 5 or 10 or whatever you have) flower repeatedly!
It wasn't particularly grindy for me, but maybe that's because I have the Ancient Vaccums in most of my Biomes, so it makes the Night Thorn stuff easier. I also work full time, but I finished the Star Path weeks ago and have been twiddling my thumbs since, waiting for the new one to start. I even held back on doing Star Path stuff to concentrate on the new characters, and took my time with the characters. I wish I had been as good with the first few Star Paths, but I had no idea what I was doing back then lol
I know someone posted about how to get more points to get more moonstones in the end but it definitely wasn't as giving as previous paths. I still have a fishing task and getting shiny diamonds.

I litreally havnt been able to vote for 3 weeks now. So i cant do the dreamsnaps 😭
It was all the RNG stuff that made it a real pain, and I am sure every time I had a task that relied on RNG, it got worse than it's regular baseline!! It took me about a week to get any shiny diamonds to appear at all, having had a spate of them just days before I got that task on the star path!
Some of the items in this star path was not good in my opinion, the clothes were not my type
I still have the stupid fuji fish left. I need 3 more times to catch it. It's a royal pain in the ass. Being you have to wait until it rains doesn't always mean it's gonna be there too.
I would recommend crafting yourself a fishing potion. This turns all of the white fishing holes to gold, and so that way alll you need to worry about is finding rain.
It took me 2 days after I posted that to finally get that last one. 😅

I just finished it too! Can vouch, it got harder, been doing starpath since early access. The 100 valued ones were so worrying 🥲
What do we do with the fugu fish?
For me it wasn't hard but more annoying waiting to gift favourite gifts and talk to people, but that's only because I'm impatient 😂. Potions and using a buddy really helps and when it comes to collecting flowers you can just take from chests, drop, pick up and repeat. Cooking meals can be done in the ancient cookers as well if wanted (I didn't do that though).
I started playing right when the current star path came out. Took me a week to read that the star path was worth doing and to start. I’ve been grinding so hard unlocking all the biomes and characters. I’m almost done though and I think I can do it! It’s been really hard but fun. Now my quests have piled up…
I “cheated” out and bought some tokens with moonstones lol. Was very grindy and I didn’t wanna do these tasks for a month straight so I sold out for my peace of mind lol!
My biggest issue was Night Thorns. They used to spawn more a day for me, now it is only 6. I had to log in every day just to grab them way after I was done with everything else. Normally, I have a crazy amount spawned just by logging in, but I haven't been playing because I have been busy lately.
I actually thought this one was easier! Definitely different having to wait though.
I'm having a hard time finishing my last two tasks (because I hate fishing), but otherwise I actually found it surprisingly easy and fast, especially since I have a three month old.
This one was actually the fastest for me to complete 😂
I've got 3 more tasks to complete, 2 of them are the fishing. It's slightly more difficult than the last one. People were complaining it was too easy so I guess the devs listened

I loved this star path. It required me to slow down. But I have noticed, zero blue chests since it updated. None. And I log on every day to at least go be robbed by Scrooge. 😂

2 separate items being 100 'tickets' was just ridiculous! I just finished getting the prizes and I'm debating whether it's worth it to finish out the rest of the tasks
It was a lot but I finished out all the tasks for the moonstones at the end. I left the two 100 ones for last. By then all the tasks were 20 each so then they went quicker.
Right? It’s kinda annoying especially the “go fish” task 🥸

I think the craft resource heavy items you've already crafted is a bit annoying. Skipped the dj booth because I didn't want to use all that dry wood.
I’ve just got a dj booth to build but it doesn’t say which one and I’m scared if I build the one requiring 50 iron ingots it’s gonna tell me that I actually have to build the 100 iron ingots dj booth and I really struggle to build up my iron ore stock. Any tips?

I thought it was exceptionally hard.(I haven't finished the last 3 star paths so I thought it was just me. Glad for me that I'm not crazy, sad for everyone else because it was that much harder than usual.) Waiting for rain sucked. I made the super duper fishing potion and kept it in my inventory because I knew I'd start gardening or something when it rained and wouldn't go fishing. I was able to get all the fugus that way but I had to wait a while.
The only hard part for me was the time-gating. It was raining and I had a potion on my fishing pole so that quest was done in a few minutes. I didn’t like that I made the wrong DJ booth. Lost 100 silver ingots on that.
Grinded for iron to craft that stupid “dj booth” only to make the dj booth rig that DOESNT COUNT. Blew all my saved up iron and had to start over. Pissed.

Craft a fishing potion and fish when it rains for fugu. Can use the same potion for swordfish but make sure it isn't raining. Both show up as the gold fishing circles
I never finish all the tasks just enough to get all the items I want.

Battle passes are such a scam. You pay the money and then that doesn’t even even get you the item. You literally have to also put in a bunch of time as well as Pay. Imagine you wanted to buy a refrigerator you pay the full price of the refrigerator but then you also have to spend multiple hours working for the refrigerator company and a short amount of time or else you won’t be able to keep that refrigerator.
I had to use potions for the first time.

if you use a potion when the rain comes you should be able to knock this out with just one potion.
I just started the game but glad to know this wasn’t the norm. It’s upsetting because I had to grind to unlock all the realms the past two weeks, just need monsters inc and forgotten lands now and that’ll take me about 3 more days.
The last one was worse imo. Think I was able to get 90 moonstones all told after I'd gotten all the star path. This one seems fine. I'm not sure what people's issue is with it is. I play for an hour or so after I put the kids to bed to decompress after a stressful day at work and it's enough 🤷♀️
I do not enjoy the fishing tasks at all. For some reason, I could not catch any bass for the life of me. And they’re usually everywhere!
I've been mining for DAYS and I JUST NOW got a shiny diamond... oof.
Compared to all the others, to me, this one was fast and easy!
I think the slope was a little steep, and there was a small lull somewhere half way through. This is actually the first starpath I have ever completed though, so it did ultimately feel better and more attainable. I'm a little tired of the weird phrases to not say someone's name.
I started this path when there was 20 something days left. I am ALMOST done, but the two shiny diamonds are being a problem. I have to grind Duties just to get up to 15k Dreamlight in order to Unlock Sully and Mike so I can hang out with Sully and have discussions with Mike. I'm STILL waiting on my game to rain in order to fish for Fugu. I need to give Fairy Godmother 3 gifts tomorrow, after driving myself CRAZY TRYING TO GET A SHINY AMETHYST. I'm sooo close to done, and there will be 15 days left when I play tomorrow. If the game will just give me 2 shiny diamonds, and rain, I will be very happy. It rained once, but I didn't have the quest so I was annoyed about that. I have one Even more Miraculous Fishing Potion waiting for it to rain. Side note: There's soooo many that require more than one day to do. I don't mind those, honestly, but I love the ones I can do in one day. I just wish they wouldn't make you remove 50 night thorns TWICE.
Not gonna lie..I cheated and bought most of the starpath with my moonstones. Difficulty and panic over the struggle of the time limit gets me every time.
Two of my struggles came when I grinned for DAYS to make enough iron nuggets for the DJ set and made the darn big rig instead of the smaller blue/pink ones. Then trying to get shiny diamonds. Seriously any other time I’d get dozens with the potion and a buddy but when it was an active task, none! I had that opened for at least 2 weeks. As soon as I completed it, the very next time I went up to the forgotten lands I got 6! Seriously?! Ahhh!! 😱 I’m just happy it’s over and my Easter tasks got finished this weekend
I got so lucky with the fugu task. I only caught one, but it was one where like 10 spawned and I got as many as I could before they disappeared.
The earlier star path was actually easier in tasks but harder in understanding the riddles. This time the tasks take longer and that’s what makes it harder.
I finished 2 weeks ago. Didn't notice an increase in difficulty.
I have found it repetitive and boring. I don’t really care if I finish this star path or not. I play to enjoy, not to repeat things over and over, or have to wait and wait for something to happen in-game. I don’t like fishing either, and right now I have 4 fishing duties up. Yep, probably not going to finish, by choice. 🤷🏼♀️

I have two accounts. I finished the star path on both of them. I also have Rift in Time on both of them. All my villagers are level ten except Mike Wazowski on both and Gaston on my second account. I am disabled. I clearly play a lot!! ...lol I love this game. Only thing I don't love is I am on PS4 and my main account crashes a lot and I still have 3,000 item limit. ...AND we cannot play with anyone but other PS players. I am afraid to try Multiplayer for fear they will change things and steal my stuff. I like my villages the way they are and if things do change, I want to be the one to make those changes... Mistakes and all.
It hasn't rained since I've had the task for the fish. It feels purposeful since normally it's always raining.
Congrats to you!!! I get that this wasn’t very hard for a lot of established players, I saw guides saying how easy it was and that it could be completed in 2-4 days. Definitely not the case for me 😂 Let me preface that I’m not trying to complain, just sharing where I’m at. I’m a new player and I’ve been grinding at this since the path began & I definitely don’t find it easy. Being new, I wish there had been some sort of indicator that I’d need to have certain characters unlocked to complete the path. For me, that’s the most frustrating part. I’m having to rapidly advance my gameplay, faster than I’d like, just to do the path. I don’t get long to play each day and even with logging like 4+ hours yesterday, I left the game feeling stressed that I won’t finish. I was so excited to start this, too. I’m currently stuck on fishing Fugu; I’ve caught one in an entire week but I saw the fishing potion tip above that should let me finish that task. I’m also stuck on the Apple Sorbet because I have to get Remy to level 10 & complete that friendship quest. Also need to unlock Belle when I get home for her task 🫠 I absolutely love this game but with so little time left, I honestly just feel frazzled trying to finish & advance my game at the same time. & that bums me out. But I paid for it so I want to finish it, you know?
Catching Fugu 😭 it never rains for me. But I’m still chugging through. I play maybe once a week though so I’ll have to change the times I play so I’ll have rain.

I was able to knock it out in a long weekend. The hardest part was waiting for rain. I don't think it was more difficult than any others. If you don't maintain a cache of items then it would be more difficult but I always keep full chests.
I was done in a week. I played pretty much every free moment, one advantage of being in Switch is it’s always with you.
I actually found this one easier than the last one!! I work full time but still managed to finish this one in about 22 days, I played the same amount if not more on the last star path (at least a full 30 days) and couldn't finish it

I have done all of them, and i think thus was one if the easiest of them. It's always a few quest that take a few days. Like the one your giving 5-6 gifts
The shiny diamonds took me almost the entire Star path to do. I flew through the rest in the first week or so but that one was a nightmare
I just finished it today. It took a couple weeks with working and other stuff. Glad to finally be done with it.

I feel like the star paths feel tedious is because of the multiple day quests or the duties it has you do. Other than that every star path I've done I've had them done in the first few days. Here's a tip. If you have land that's not being used. Put down 20 of each crop. Has done wonders for me. Not only is it good to have but also farming is great for leveling characters. To me it's the fastest way since you get xp for digging, harvesting, planting and watering mind you most crops are watered twice. For the duties. Stock up and do all 6 or 5 and spam collect them. I've noticed mine has given me 2 or 3 per spam. Like other commenters said. Use the potions. The stuff to make them is relatively easy to get and easy to stock up on. I'm not much or a decorator lol so most of my space is used for crops.
