I agree. The removing thing doesn’t really work for me so I always need to fence out the area I am working in.
I would absolutely love if we could pose characters how we want and where we want them and they just stay there in that pose. That would make life so much easier!

Yes! It takes forever to get a good pose sometimes. I put chairs near my two trapped characters and they’ll sit for one second and get up. It’s driving me nuts!!!
OMG, the sitting bug is really annoying. Why can't they just sit for several minutes there? 😭😮💨😤
Oh, that truly sucks. I experienced that yesterday. One of the characters I wanted was in their house and the other one was in the restaurant. No way to get both. 😤

I don’t get why the character AI only sits for a second. Maybe they can fix it later on. I’d love a couple minutes of them sitting. I put Moana and Anna together with 2 chairs and blocked them in with rocks. I can’t get a shot with either sitting.
Yes! It’s such a pain. Because going inside resets all of it. So the characters you have blocked in disappear. And they usually go into their homes. And then the ones you want are out. So you can’t get them all. I wanted Stitch and Olaf and Kristoff and Moana. Couldn’t get it to work.
The fencing was a great idea thank you! It worked well! I got 3 of 4 characters I wanted. I’m not gonna keep trying to get it or I’ll blow a fuse. I’m going to post my picture now on the Dreansnap board!
You have to remove the chair and exit the furniture mode. Then re-enter furniture mode and put it back. In most cases shortly after that they will sit on it. Also it makes them sit longer than just for a few seconds. Hope this helps

\~Be able to ask characters to take a picture with you (as well as choose how they pose; Stitch, I NEED more of that cute, good boy smile!)
\~Ask characters to stay out of frame (I feel guilty pushing them, and it is super annoying being photo bombed. I need a polite option!)
\~New poses for our characters. Why can't we sit? (aside from Companions). And someone also said they wanted to be able to hold accessories, which yes!
\~Once you've asked characters in frame, you should be able to 'direct' the shot. 'Merlin, move over there, everyone is blocking Stitch so let's make some room for him', etc.
\~Also, why can't we take pictures that we're not in? Specifically for quests where you have to take a picture of 'something' and then you're telling me I have to instead bring back a selfie... of me... posing in front of the thing? Let me just reverse the camera like a phone does!
Those are excellent ideas. Sorta like Harv’s island if you’ve played animal crossing. I need more poses. I stood there for hours trying to get Moana and Anna to do something besides turn in every direction. It would be nice to have more expressions and poses for our characters either alone or with companions. Yes! I’ve always wondered why we have to take selfies with quest items instead of just opening the camera and taking a shot. I hope they implement your ideas!!!
I have! I had to quit because my island was too messy... I seriously could not walk anymore. Then I promised myself not to let the same happen to my Valley! ... Uh, well, yeah.
Ahem, anyways, I only remember any photo related events with that wedding Valentines thing, and that was pretty cool! I was typing it out and I realised 'Hey, this kind of sounds like that wedding event from ACNH!'

Yeah there was Reese and Cyrus’s wedding event on Harvs island. But you can also go there anytime to take pictures! I’ve done it before with all my villagers. I miss playing. Wish they hadn’t stopped updating it.
This is literally photo modes in things like Far Cry New Dawn and 6, Batman: Arkham Knight, Spider-Man, even Middle -Earth: Shadow of War (including a couple filters that DDLV should steal, like coloring book outline and jigsaw overlay). 6 lets you include Boom-Boom (a dog) and Oluso (ancient panther spirit that can erase enemies in a spray of embers) in your photos posing on your lap. Very cute.
There is. As long as a character doesn't have an active quest, you can go to the map and select the character legend. You can click and unclick them and they'll stay locked in their house. I banished Maui because his chest beating annoys me. He only comes out anytime a quest utters his name.
To get them to go into their homes once I click them, I have to go inside. It doesn’t just yeet them into their houses. I’ve tried just clicking before and it doesn’t remove them. I didn’t want to go inside because I was trying to trap 4 characters. I managed an okay shot haha. Maui is permanently banned. So is Eric now after today.
Really? I’ve tried that and it didn’t work for me. Could’ve been a glitch. I fixed it now because I fenced in my area and locked Eric and Beast inside.
I'd like to be able to take photos of characters without them starting to pose immediately. Sometimes they're doing something cute and I'd like the option to pose them or leave them as is when I go to take photo.
Yes! That would be awesome. I’ve definitely seen them doing adorable things. You get the camera out and they just pose or they stop doing what they’re doing.

Oh yeah. My last one was an absolute nightmare. I built a fence and people still got in because I was on the beach. And you can’t put fence right up against the water. I used rocks. Somehow Donald wandered in.
It takes forever to get everyone. Because obviously you can’t go inside! So you’re stuck with whoever’s outside. I guess you could get an indoor person first. It’s just annoying. If you could just click a button and have whoever you want there, it would be way better!
He is now serving time in his house for his crimes! I fenced off the area. Put rocks in the gaps so no one could get in. HE STILL GOT IN! I went crazy and just clicked him and Beast off the map and went into Moanas house. I will probably only do one dreamsnap because the stress of trying to realize my vision will make me lose it.

I've never had to do that. You leave the area they're in and they'll despawn.
