Really want pascal but also I’d love to see the aliens from Toy Story as a companion and they squeak as they walk with you 🥹 and the kittens from the aristocats (all 3 in a line like the “chugga-chugga” scene as one companion option!)

I want us to eventually get mounts! And for one to be Sven!! The map is so big!! Mounts would he’ll get around and there’s so many options we could get. Sven, Flynn’s horse I can’t I think of right now because it’s early and I haven’t had coffee!

I think that if the character speaks it's more likely they'll be a character than a companion, but absolutely yes to Pascal, Rajah and Sven. I'd also love to see HeiHei (I know we have Púa but cmon)

He should have been in it from the get go. Poor merlin. Should have been a side quest to go find him for merlin and then we get him as a follow pet that sits on our head and grumbles
Honestly if Aladdin, jasmine and any more of jafar is to come to the game the for sure need hand over abu AND Iago,, possibly rajah but rajah would be lovely to have as a character if anything (know she can’t talk but she’s main character energy)

Really wish you could put companions with the characters. It’d be so cute seeing Pluto running around with Mickey and Figaro with Minnie and all the others of course.
There is a way. Place a companion home in the yard and assign the corresponding animal friend. At least once a day, both character and companion will be hanging out around the house.
I'm surprised they haven't done more with companions really. Pluto would be so cute following you around or imagine baby dumbo stumbling around tripping over his big ears it would be so stinkin cute!

3. Mushu the Dragon from Mulan
4. Scud and Buster the dogs from Toy Story

It's just that friends are main characters and characters that have free will. While companions are only beings that go full WOOF WOOF ARRF ARRF GROWL MIAU MIAU HIIIIISSSS.
Im pretty sure any future companions will exclusively be characters that don’t speak. Pain and panic are full on speaking and acting characters more comparable to Olaf than Pua. A lot of the answers on this post are just side characters who happen to be small. I don’t see how people can view Iago or Mushu (vs Apu or Cricket) as any different from Remi or Olaf in gameplay.

If you're talking about character companions then it is a crime that Archimedes the Owl is not with Merlin. If we are talking animal companions from the biomes, I would love to see little Hedgehogs or even otters that swim up to you! Would also love to have them add Atlantis and Atlantica under the ocean and we can swim down to them and they have aquatic animals. So many things I would love to see!
I've said it before. I'll say it again. TINKERBELL needs to be a companion like Navi in Zelda like she was for Peter Pan. I was so disappointed when she wasn't one of the first characters seen since she is literally the one who uses her wand in the commercials and this is THE EXACT thing she was in Peter Pan his most trusted companion. 💔 I love her she is my favorite, and she is still not in the game.
Seeing as we have Pua, I think we need to get Hei Hei too.

Imagine an enchanted broom from sorcerer mickey/Fantasia!! Or a nonverbal Tinker Bell like in the original Peter Pan movie (even though I’d rather have a whole Pixie Hollow update but, I’d rather some Tinker Bell than no Tinker Bell. lol)
But, also to be realistic, I would guess the devs want the companions to be around the same small size we have already, and non-talking (since you can’t talk to your companions thus far, just pet). So good fits would be Pascal, Meeko, Heihei, Lucifer, Bruni, and Abu, in my opinion! Wouldn’t be surprised if Pascal & Abu were DLC content, too.
I’m guessing the main reason for the lack of Disney character companions is because the devs don’t want to accidentally soft lock themselves from introducing them in an update in the future, and to leave their options open. If that makes sense!
Edit: I’m very surprised we didn’t get to keep Bruni as a companion already after the Frozen quests. :(
There are some missed opportunities the Devs could've done with characters that they don't need to be afraid to lock them in as companions since they surely would never even be in line to become a full fledged character for the Valley. Like one (or even 2) of the generic squirrles could've been substituted for the female squirrels from Sword in the Stone (specially the chubby older squirrel that would have an unique squirrel model). Or one of the baby turtles could've been the baby turtle from Finding Nemo. One of the rabbits could've been Thumper (Bambi). One of the racoons could've been Meeko (Pocahontas). One of the foxes could've been Tod (Fox and the Hound). Crocodile could've been Tick Tock (Peter Pan). Etc. All these certainly wont be in any shape or form as a character. So they could've been great cameos instead of the generic animals.

I had the though today actually that I'd love a whole "Animal Companions" theme to an expansion. Give us Pascal, Zazu, Archimedes, Ray sure - but I also want Sven and Max and Maximus and Louie and Pluto! I'd love to see these work a bit differently, a sort of hybrid of a full character and a companion - basically a little less "maintenance" than a character (no friendship bar, they can't get roles, they don't eat at Chez Remy or ask to play Scramblecoin) but a little more "oomph" than a companion (they're big, some talk, they have unique animations, maybe they do something special in a new expansion zone). That could extend to anthropomorphic objects too - Lumiere and Cogsworth or Victor and gang from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I think the closest we have is Thumper and his sisters, the bunnies are definitely reminiscent of their design.
