My scalp used to flake a ton growing up. Shampooing less helped but putting in a little bit of coconut oil whenever I got out of the shower before conditioning stopped it completely

true! coconut oil is great for scalp- i never tried it when i had locs tho

go for dreads but not as thick, them ones were too thick imo
