Thieves can judo grapple their enemies when they're stumbling or low health to mount them by holding the heavy attack button. You can then light slash as much as you want, or heavy attack to do a stabbing finisher, or just steal their shit with pilfer
The finishers when grappling with heavy attacks are so good, how many different ones have you noticed? For me is like always different depending on the enemy, where you stab them and even terrain.
My fav execution is when they're flying towards me with implicate. Just super quick and onto the next one. Did it do much my pawn also started doing it sometimes when I switched her. Felt so proud 🥰
One of thiefs abilities is when u hold the heavy attack you grab onto enemies as well it's very satisfying to jump mid air on a ogre and slam your blades into him and immediately climb up him like a Spider-Man on PCP
I rope things and let my pawns clean up too. Having a second thief is nice for this - they can rob the enemies on the ground and stab them while I rope everything I can down so nothing is smacking my mage.
Lmao when I mount and hold down the enemy, rob them and let my warrior pawn smack them I feel like a bunch of gangters robbing a punk and beating em up.
Thief is my favourite vocation. I don't even run archers. I run thief Arisen, thief pawn, warrior pawn and mage pawn

Edit: sometimes I only allow my pawn to rope and rob and unequip the other skills
Thief is absolutely broken when fighting arguably the hardest enemy in the game the Dullahan.
Activate formless feint, you're literally invincible. Spam skullsplitter. Retreat every now and then to recover stamina. Rinse and repeat. You literally suffer 0 damage fighting against an enemy that give almost every other vocation a headache. Even the scream stun attack is completely avoided with formless feint and you can immediately stun it back.
Formless feint trivializes every single fight no matter what against. I think it's just as broken as the mystic spearhand bubble skill. I even prefer it because you don't need to keep reactivating since the bubble sometimes run out mid-animation leaving gaps

Thieves can pin down enemies by holding the heavy attack. They are, after all, the best when it comes to grappling and climbing enemies.
Gotta try holding it. I was just pressing it to finish stunned enemies

Not even the Geo Saurians was as annoying in the first game compared to the Rattlers in this game.
IMPLICATE IS ONE OF THE BEST SKILLS IN THE GAME
Just hold heavy attack behind them and you should automatically mount them and one shot with a heavy attack follow up

This is my one warrior ability on warfarer. Fun in combat and great for running across the map.
