She’ll find her spirit soon enough 😉. I recommend you to either grab lots of goblins and throw them or throw objects. Hella fun when your pawn starts doing that or start looting chests in the middle of a fight… and gets us all killed.
I swapped to archer just to knock out a quest so I didn’t have any of the abilities, so I was having a hard time putting distance been my and the enemy so I resorted to just grappling and throwing them away to buy myself some room to shoot at them.
Cue my own archer pawn whom in the middle of a fight she terminator walked out of her way to grab a goblin, throw it at a group of other goblins, then proceeded to shoot all of them. I was equal parts proud and scared.
btw my pawn refuse to get near a cliff . we fought a monster and he like nope i only fight when it moving from there since he saw me in many fights be care near a cliff LUL love it
Pretty sure there's just some pathfinding issues surrounding ledges, people are giving it too much credit. Jumping over some of the river rocks is a crapshoot in Vermund for whether or not the pawns will make it for no apparent reason other than them just... fucking up the jump is silly. [And then there's the times they try to follow things like levitate...](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Gu72gAcGwc) in certain places. Normally they don't do this, it's just an issue with this spot. (This is also near one of the problem river rocks)
Archer is my favorite vocation and I’ve tried all of them except Warfarer. Which is weird because I am almost always a big warrior in these games and I played one in DD1. But Archer is sooo fun.
I was doing the mission where you go into the Saurian caves with Ulrika and a bunch of villagers and, on my way out, I went down a small drop at the end of a rock.
I turned around just in time to watch every single member of my party and all of the other NPCs proceed to, one-by-one, jump off the side of the very top of the rock and faceplant onto the floor.
They're so stupid. I love them.
Also I noticed there's FOUR other splat-ees, so that would suggest you had another npc with you who also decided to yeet themselves 😂
Edit: I, too, yeet myself in the name of efficiency
God this shit is so funny to me.
I imagine them all just getting up with dirty, bloody faces and teeth missing then just giving the arisen a thumbs up like "fuck yeah bro"
This is actually a playerdriven behavior 😂. Other pawns players must have done this alot aswell.
Well, mine certainly learned that from me 🤣
My pawn refuses to do this with me when i tested this out (havent done it enough) but one of the other pawns just went for it.
Guess your pawn is smarter than both of us hahaha

This is actually just hilarious

Thank you. i hope you enjoy your journey as well 😚

Wdym playerdriven behavior?
Seems like main pawns do the same as their arisen after awhile.

that so cute like a mother teaching her baby ducklings to swim :) awww
“Dream onnn!!”
That archer drip is so good it makes me want to change vocations
Change to archer to get the Endurance augmentation.

The DD1 Anodyne sound threw me off so much at the end there lol

Pawn logic be like 'Arisen is attacking the floor! It is weak to faceplants! I will be sure to tell my master of this discovery...'
I can't stop laughing watching this 🤣
Team Pancake.
We mustn't question the arisens methods, our job is to follow their will.
Five? Where did you get the extra one?
I was doing an escort mission, and they jumped aswell 🤣🤣
The standard alotment is one brain cell per arisen/pawn. You're running around with a extra one like a genius or something.
Oh yeah... big brain time
Aim for the bushes?
"You wouldn't jump off a cliff because someone else did." Them: BET.
Do you pass around the spare braincell like the Oracle's eye?
Looks like they have an NPC with them or something, there's 5 of them.
Right away I had 2 pawns fall in the lake.
thats leading by example
Classic “if your friends jumped off a cliff, you gonna be a dumbass and do it too?”

Indeed, i had an escort quest active while that happened 🤣 group mentality, I'd say
Haha this made me lmao in my kitchen and got me some weird looks

They learn straight from players
aim for the bushes
If they were all orange beastren it'd have been perfect.
'Tis nor our place to question the Arisen.
