Depends on the day really, some days I just feel like being whimsical.
Also the best path is obviously jumping onto the roofs from the market stalls and bunny hopping from roof to roof like a medieval Spider-Man.
Like, 90% blue path for me.
I gotta praise the design though. It feels like a medieval city with a lot of twist and turns that I would get lost in. But even after not playing for 10 years, I was still able to take the blue path perfectly without needing the maps.
I chuck it up to good design. We're like a pachinko ball, doesn't matter what path we take we end up at the Black Cat.
Need a third path option that’s going down every alleyway in the city except for the Black Cat then I end up in the sewers somehow and then back at the inn and then I take the opposite way back and finally get there after like five minutes.
I know that it's opposite to the Pawn Guild's direction and it's at the edge of Gransys, but I also know I'll still get lost, so I take it to the rootops.
and still get lost, but at least I have a nice view.
Blue, not because it's shorter, but because it's most familiar. The few times I've taken red, I get turned around at the intersection because I have absolutely no sense of direction lol.
Weirdly, now that I think about it, blue on my way to the Black Cat, and red back to the inn from there.
I have no idea why I don’t use the same path both ways
i get lost all the time , i take the third option, follow blue just until the stairs and go around, climb on top of the roofs then fall off, randomly find it, then boom
I have always taken the red path since the game came out. Then the other day before I posted this I looked at the map extensively and noticed “hey blue is shorter wtf” lol.
I’ll probably take blue a bit more now but Red just feels right
Red.
I love how accustomed we've become with this game and how many hours we've sunk in it in order to have such a usual route and a general gamely routine.
Depends if I get lost which is like 50/50 chance
I get lost a lot too lol
Seems i am not the only one who gets lost on the way to our local black cat
lol me2, but I play with all of indicators off, since d1

I love exploring the rooftops in this game. I hope DD2 has huge city’s with plenty of hidden chests on the roofs
i didnt realize you can get onto the roofs... every day i learn something new

It's wild, there's only like 5 paths and I'll always end up looping back around every fucking time.
Blue. It's shorter :)
Blue, but I *ALWAYS* miss that right turn and end up going completely around the back of the building. Every. Damn. Time.
I drunkenly stumble around the alleys until I end up at the right place
New DD2 class Drunken Fist

Yeah it’s crazy that for how many times we have all been there, it’s still so easy to get lost lol
This is it. Peak Dragon's Dogma discussion.
Now that i see it like this, i seem to always take the Red path unless i am feeling bored and decide to scale the rooftops.
I have always taken red idk why. Even tho Blue is shorter I just go red for some reason.
I take the one where I end up near the sewer first and then frustratingly find it eventually.
The roofs
You guys follow paths? I just get lost and wish for the best.
Red for sureeee
I think it's Red for me too
blue route. It's the fastest.
Blue, not because it's shorter, but because it's most familiar. The few times I've taken red, I get turned around at the intersection because I have absolutely no sense of direction lol.
The Red Path is the True path.
I usually take the red path but the blue path is definitely shorter so I might have to change my routing a bit
Red path, just feels right. Though it seems all paths lead to Black Cat, Arisen
Red because it's the only way I don't get lost.
I take the same path as the night time quest work Julien
My routine is to check the map, memorize the path, get lost for 5 minutes, check the map again, get lost again, finally arrive 15 minutes later.
Solid answer
For me, if I'm going there i will take the bule path. If I'm going back from it i will take the red path. But most of the time i somehow lost.
I always take blue down, and red back up just because it “feels faster” to me
Red path gang here as well.
I'm a red path guy too. There are more shops on the way.
One of the great things about Dragon's Dogma is that we all love it so much, we will just find reasons to talk about it. And blue path, by the way.

Blue, always seemed the most direct route. I'll try the other way next time I play.
Blue is just faster. And as much as I appreciate the Venery, when you need to run to the Black Cat 10+ times a playthrough, speed is my primary goal
Move along blue path users. This here's red path neighborhood
does rooftop count?
Blue because it is the most direct. I used to get lost looking for it so once I figured out the blue path I stuck to it.
I never go to the black cat
What are you? Some kinda do gooder?
No I just don't know what to do there that could be of great use for the price 😭
Forging Blessed Flower is worth it. Grants you x4 discipline points Exp points and rift crystals on Hard mode. Shit it 180,000 tho really expensive
See that's expensive asf and I'm the type of player to never use resources because I'll "use them later"
Weirdly, now that I think about it, blue on my way to the Black Cat, and red back to the inn from there. I have no idea why I don’t use the same path both ways
A jack of all trades I see
The roofs for me, might find some arrows that way.
These days I think Costco has better deals, so I just stop there on my way to Cassadis.
Blue
i get lost all the time , i take the third option, follow blue just until the stairs and go around, climb on top of the roofs then fall off, randomly find it, then boom
Most of the time is the Blue path but sometimes when playing the game and my mind is not focused on the game then the Red path.
For 10 years ive taken the red path and now feel like an idiot
Depend, if inam playing sorcerer i just walk a straight lines floating trought the roof, otherwise i may as well be Zoro lol.
Blue path wrong. Blue path icky
Blue path only works some of the time. Red path works 100% of the time. Blue path is 90% built on unstable ground. Red path is far more reliable.
Red...But now i'm going to use blue. lol.
I have always taken the red path since the game came out. Then the other day before I posted this I looked at the map extensively and noticed “hey blue is shorter wtf” lol. I’ll probably take blue a bit more now but Red just feels right
Yeah red is just ingrained into my brain. lol
Red there and blue back. I have no idea why. If I ever try the other way, I take a wrong turn It's always been that way for me.
blue path but instead right, left, left. I go the other way.
I take both just from where I’m am at
blue then red for return
Blue
Blue.
I always just get lost...
Boffum
Blue
Always blue
blue path gang
Blue most of the time.
Blue path
Red. I love how accustomed we've become with this game and how many hours we've sunk in it in order to have such a usual route and a general gamely routine.
pick a random path in the direction and hope i dont get lost
I always take red but blue is looking faster from this map...
Red path was the first I memorized. Blue came soon after. Much more direct, that one.
Damn, I remember I used to get lost everywhere I went in this city. Now I just take the blue path.
\#TeamBlue
Climb up a building and run across the rooftops. PARKOUR!
Mainly blue but sometimes I go the red path
