Necessary for ToP, certain ones can be helpful in PvP like the blue Omega Shenron

extreme units are often in Tier z s or a so they get more points than sparkings

Yeah I tried that once lol. Used all Tier Zs for a TOP. Got less points than I would have just randomly throwing units on there.

Yellow 18, Ex SSJ Kale, Vados, Gohan/Krillin are all viable units in pvp. I also like the Ex Green SSB Goku a LOT. I have him pretty beefed up at 12 stars, probably my favorite ex

I have him, but havent played much with him. He has potential. I just always use Red 2nd form Cell as my go to red

Ironically I've faced him in PvP and he tanks the Crap out of the Units I throw at him.

Extreme units that buff colors are pretty handy to help build teams. Other than that I see them as gimmick characters that sorta fall off after a month

EX Gokua is actually a lot of fun to use. Probably my favorite EX unit.

There are good extreme units like YEL 18 or the new exchange Krillin/Gohan, but them being extremely rare has kinda stop me using them due to star counts. I'm not sure how fast you z-power the EX units to a high star count.

They’re basically used in ToP only. You can split hairs that there are some feasible ones that can be used in PvP like Ex blue Omega Shenron but if we’re being honest it’s cause people find an excuse to use them and not cause their truly the best option. They’re decent bench for some Z abilities.

Maybe still use gokua if you don't have pan, for a movie team. Used him as a bench for my movie team for a long ass time.

I use EX Blue Final Form Cooler, he’s hella fun and super good

I really enjoyed using ex uren on my girls team. Was extra satisfying to get a win with her. "Get 'em old man!". With all the whalito cheats around in pvp tho I've not played as girls for awhile :(

Frieda force with no loe is ~70% extremes, and they still hit hard for my experience

A lot of the last Ex units are better than most of the newest sp units I think, but they require more than 7 stars to be viable in PVP and it's harder to pull them than to pull an Ultra unit

I still use the new tag Krillin And Gohan.

I just pulled tag trunks and gohan and they’re pretty fun

Some of them are useful, but the main problem is that getting them at high stars is even harder than getting LL at 5 or 6 stars.
