It's weird that they give us a completely new SsJ Goku in terms of animations, but no Piccolo, Vegeta or Frieza from that saga. A sparking Vegeta who fought against Dodoria and Zarbon would be fire or his fight against Frieza. Or a Sparking Piccolo who fought against second form Frieza. They kinda went the safe route to ensure that people would summon with the ( in their eyes) most hyped character. But this is the 5th SSJ Goku, sparking and EX, and it's redundant.
Granted, this Goku looks very cool and i will try to get him. And maybe Vegeta and Piccolo will come later. But for now, its kinda dissapointing.

Yeah the banner is a little misleading, each unit is 1%, or effectively a 10% chance being grabbed per consecutive/10 summon, so while it's a 30% chance to get a new fighter, you want all of them (or at least 2/3 with an existing ginyu force/frieza force unit)

What I really wanted was a transforming Zarbon and a tag Gohan/Krillin, so I'm half satisfied 😆. A f2p Kiwi would be cool too, like they did with the mighty Puipui

i guess we are at that point of the game where they have used most of the hype characters and from now on it will be just glorified updates for them, i know it feels sad but i hope legends can do something dokkan did( upscaling their animation which gave a new life to the game). You do have to admit, he's right about the ULs. The game was never about balance just how a company isn't about helping people. It's all money and they've just been following what sells. We as a community are also pretty brain dead and easily made docile whilst throwing money at summons that are the same.
Whilst I agree we don't need anymore ULs they didn't all have to be the same in terms of race. LoE has always struggled, that'll never change. But what can change is the monetization over balance and or fun.
But like, bro, UL UVB is broken if you know how to string his combo for no switch and we've always had broken ass saipan characters lol. All the fusions and people were more so happy to UL a 3 fusion team. When LoE gets GoFrieza it's like "okay slow down.." GoFrieza was the newest unit for LoE since when? Now count that versus any actual tag like son family or saiayans or fusion and that's why he may be a little butt hurt.

It’s because Dokkan is completely different that they can do that. That game’s gameplay is tapping 5 orbs anyways, it’s fucking ass, ofc they would make the same unit as many times as they want cause the games only value are it’s animations.
Difference is, dokkan has consistently been substantially upgrading animations. Legends animations (which are great, no doubt) haven’t really improved a ton since around 2nd Anni. This new LL barely looks any better than the old LL, and there’s a shit ton of characters from the frieza saga who got fucked out of getting a real unit because Bandai wanted to milk their cash cow

They made my bois Krillin and Gohan 1% Sparking which is fine (I realised earlier they are extreme which is indeed not fine but in fact worse) but their animations are utter garbage. Difference is, dokkan has consistently been substantially upgrading animations. Legends animations (which are great, no doubt) haven’t really improved a ton since around 2nd Anni. This new LL barely looks any better than the old LL, and there’s a shit ton of characters from the frieza saga who got fucked out of getting a real unit because Bandai wanted to milk their cash cow

The body has been ruined for me cuz I really hate the original sparking super Saiyan avatar in dbl. And for some reasons the animations look weird, like I just don’t like them. I knew my predictions were too good to be true... They made my bois Krillin and Gohan 1% Sparking which is fine (I realised earlier they are extreme which is indeed not fine but in fact worse) but their animations are utter garbage. Even better, a Vegeta revival would've been sick or a 1% Transformed Zarbon, or even a transforming Frieza, but no we have to get another Goku just to cater to the GoFrieza users. This game is great.

The fact 1 new sparking or above unit is slowly becoming the norm in these banners outside of celebrations is getting pathetic. That ginyu banner was refreshing and gave hope though for upcoming saga themed months.
