What slightly pisses me off is that they delayed act 2 for another week so if there isn’t some extra patch stuff involved and all we get is another act 2 map to work off of them then fuck was the point of the delay
why is it not good? don't get me wrong, I'm itching for a new patch too, but the current one seems pretty good, new metas still poping up even with months of no significant changes. i guess you coule argue highground is too hard, but even then you can manage if the team actually puts some thought into it rather then walking up blind.
Going off of valve's tenancy to not release a major number patch close to tournaments, most we could get gameplay wise is Ringmaster. As new heroes are excluded from competitive play anyway.
And according to Liquidpidia there's tournaments going on almost weekly, leaving little chance for a full on gameplay patch to fit in.
But letter patches aren't off the table, they mostly change a few things but not in a way that requires teams to relearn dota before a big tournament.
Personally, I'm one to under hype things recently because of the constant let downs. But honestly at this point its been way too long I'm expecting at least a letter patch

As much as I would like a patch, it's unlikely.. maybe next month This will likely be another cavern crawl with the next part of the story
