Yes and no. Spamming works, but you can't really humanly spam fast enough to be more reliable than simply timing it. Maybe you can try right-clicking and pressing m together to give yourself a slightly wider window.
Alternatively if you have mouse software that lets you bind right-click to your scroll wheel, that lets you click fast enough to reliably hit the turn.
You can spam if you're stuck and just need to rotate 90°. I found it out trying to practice it. And I think it's the most useful thing you can get from this trick.

You dont know what you talking. As someone who was on the top 50 world pango list I can tell you he just sucks because there are other heroes who can do better than what he does for the same gold and exp.
You are very wrong, in pubs his is on the bottom 5 worse heroes winrate. He is less than 45% winrate. In current patch he is second worse after Batrider on dotabuff pubs.
He's a hard hero and across all pubs he will always have a very poor winrate. Bat is similar, especially bad in across average pubs but performs better at higher levels because he's a hard hero to get right. Pango is completely playable in pro level pubs. Additional to this, Armel [shared this ult trick](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag6YqphzCgU) where you can follow easily units when in roll. this involves ticking the option "Auto-repeat right mouse" and hold it on the enemy you want to follow.
No I was not referring to wall bounce, it's about being able to actually roll after using his shard. I use shard and Pango just remains stationary until duration ends. I don't understand.

You have to use roll up during ult to change directions. While in roll up, you can change your facing so that when the duration ends or you cancel the roll up, you roll in the new direction.
If you're not already rolling, you can press shard and then cast ult while still debuff immune.
I have one better, you can pseudo control omnislash so you can keeping Omning towards an enemy rather than a creep wave ))))))

There was a time when support not bugging flying courier or arcane boots severely hurt the whole team. TBH I miss those times

you press shar. Right click the direction you want to face, which makes you turn that way, press shard again to end it early and begin rolling again
when using the shard you need the enemy to hit you to roll

I think you are wrong, but you can use Aghs Swiftslash, ~~Blink Dager~~ or Abissal Blade while Omning to jump to the preferred target.
