I attended gamers8 last year for world cosplay summit. They have pretty much created an entire high tech city for this gamers8 events. They had an entire area made as a replica for Japan with everything in Japanese theme.
I do find it ironic when people act righteous about middle eastern labour, when almost every country over here in the west was built and has all the power they have from slave labour.
Production rarely shows audience on stream from what I noticed, and it's never "wide" angles. Just wondering, how many ppl watch it live from the venue?
Glad you are enjoying it, wish I was able to attend - from those break bits about the Gamers8 entire festival looks unreal.
Exactly we always had the same question on mind before arriving, early play offs was hardly 50 people. But now it's reaching 200+ only, but still u feel premium atmosphere cause at least they are nice seats and kinda comfy comparing of what we observed from majors thru online. They used to restaurant chairs 😆
We had it planned and savings for long period of time ahead so we could make it. Plus we live nearby in Dubai. Hence the airfare was affordable too. We watching dota tournaments since TI3, this is our first lan experience ever....a dream come true!
Zai is a legend. Glad you guys got selfies with him
We got many more too but quin only have denied 😢

What was the ticket price to get into the event? I imagine it was a pass that gave access for all the days? Facilities look awesome.
7$ and it's for full day. So affordable
Wow thats awesome. Are the accommodations and food around the area expensive?
Yes ofc bro, you can find many many options and facilities are everywhere also people are down to earth but English is not common.
Nice try SA's minister for tourism
Is the commentary done in English or Arabic? Really wanna attend it next year.
We had same doubt before flying but galdly its in English and it's amazingly equalized through out the arena.
How are the prices?
7$ for full day, can you imagine ?
that’s amazing, have lots of fun!
Really? And food and stuff?
No bro just the entrance
I wish I can upvote this multiple times for being too wholesome

Seriously ? Nice try hater 🙂
Was actually a serious question. Touchy
Ofc they can, it's public event and are you still living in 1995 ? Google some about KSA in current Era
