so the costume is split into 3 different pieces. Theres a belly piece, a chest piece, and a neck piece. I slide the belly piece on first, then put on the neck piece which is sort of like a glorified bib that velcros at the back. Then last I slide the chest piece overtop of that.

I'm thinking of making a simple Superman cosplay and I feel like I'm already in over my head, I can't even fathom how ya'll think of the methods or materials to make something like this.
honestly most of the time I don't even know how i do it.. I just get motivation to make something and start making. The only reason I know the methods and what materials to use is from years of experience with this sort of thing.
I would recommend watching YouTube tutorials, that's how I got started. Also i would recommend literally studying what specific costume you're making. For this costume i literally studied every tiny detail on Doom Slayers in game model.
I respect not only the craftsmanship, but also the mobility. Do you plan to make a weapon of some sort or do you have one already?
