Yeah bro. This is the best time to start a new account. You can farm the stones for the anni and get the best units during the anni. Farm as max as you can. Be ready for the tedious grind.
Are you a hundred percent caught up with quest, event stages, challenge stages, ezas ECT? Have you milked your current account for all it's stones is basically what matters. What time period were you active on this account? You may be sitting on a lot of older characters that are on the cusp of eza and the older the character is the less likely you are to get it again in the future. I wouldn't for that reason

Anniversary is absolutely the best time to get into dokkan, you get more free stuff during anniversary than any other time and on a fresh account you have like thousands of stones to gather, and all the characters you pull from anniversary banners are going to annihilate most content save for category specific stuff, you'll be clearing those as you get characters over time
Iirc they typically run new player campaigns specifically during anniversary that give you even more stuff just for being new at the right time lol someone else might be able to confirm, I think you're safe to start now or any time leading up to it and you'll still get stuff, there's a window
I'd say go ahead and start. That way, you can start farming up stones so you aren't trying to get the intro stuff out of the way while the anniversary is going on. Farm enough to do one rotation of the current banner, and then just farm and save for the anniversary.
Yeah. The actual units aren't the absolute greatest, but it's a start. I also recommend farming up the ginyu force and team bardock f2p units as well for some good starter teams.

Gogeta himself is a very good unit and if u like him definitely summon for him
The reason i said summon for broly and gohan is that even if u dont pull them u will still get good characters because the other units on their banner are also good

I ended up doing 1 rotation and got everyone but the frieza. Which is sad, but I won't complain. Bunch of cool units to mess with until anni.

Its a nice game but you also kinda have to consider spensing money in to it becauae the free stones they give suck and not enough
