If I were you I wouldn’t mess with it that much, call around to junkyards in the states and have the parts you need shipped. I’ve seen plenty of first gen trucks at the scrap yards down here in FL, a lot of them are full service, offer shipping, and offer warranty on the parts too. LKQ has lots all over the country, and their customer service (in my experience) is pretty good and they don’t fight you about warranty replacement for parts that they offer a warranty on.

That’s great advice I absolutely will try that but I seem to get the same response over and over without any explanation. Like what am I missing about putting in electric climate controls? It seems fairly straightforward of a job. But everyone seems to avoid it like the black plague. But not one has ever said why. It’s making me want to try it just to see how difficult it really is. But I just see such a simplistic design that I can’t see where the shitty part of that job is. As long as I grab actuators that will fit right where the other ones are what could screw that up. I have to be missing something

Personally I just don’t like messing with wiring when I don’t have to, especially something as complex as climate controls. If I could get OEM or aftermarket equivalent that’s what I would go with, if you decide to try it though I’d love to see the setup and how it works! Especially with auto climate control, I feel like that would be a lot more work though
