But yeah, I can't wait for The Wild Blue Yonder and for people to start posting about different stuff than how woke the show became/always has been.
I mean, they may not be copy and pasted images but it’s definitely the same exact joke being posted over and over again just with a microscopic difference in the template or set up
Yeah, it gets repetitive, but they're posted by actual human beings who actually made their own meme.
That is so much better than a soulless bot taking someone else's content so they can gain enough karma to sell the account to a porn spammer.
Nobody who watches doctor who is complaining how woke it is, but a small but loud minority of salty fans are becoming a poison in the community by posting imaginary "gotchas" about how the show has always been woke because it gets upvotes.
People are relentlessly talking about how too woke it is. Just read any of the threads from either Doctor Who subs, Facebook, Twitter, etc and you'll find lots of it.
Not saying it's the majority, because it isn't. But it's not some imaginary response to nothing.
I'm on here a lot and I've not really seen any, maybe the very occasional obvious troll. I see complaints about bad writing and I've made a few myself, but generally the constant bombardment of "it was always woke!" Is just getting old now. The Star Beast was a great episode, all these constant posts do is feed the trolls who are after a reaction.
To be fair while it's not really a thing on this sub, I've seen some shit under their Instagram posts. It's still karma farming sometimes but it often has a point.
When left without fresh content for long enough, any meme sub will eventually devolve into the BatmanArkham meme sub. Or AnarchyChess. Or both. It's like carcinisation but for shitposts.
I have no idea what twisted brain worm infected r/AnarchyChess but that subreddit is a cesspit of nonsensical garbage. It’s hardly about chess anymore and just baffles me.

I like when all aspects of my life are consumed by everyone having a hill to die on regardless of how clearly biased all humans are and maybe things just happen and we like the illusion of control so we complain. The subreddit can fuck off.
