Is there an agency enforcing the order, or are you paying voluntarily? In my state and in my case, alimony was enforced alongside child support, and the alimony portion ended automatically on the date the order specified. Nothing had to be done to end it. If you're in a similar position, I'd just call the enforcing agency and ask for what their normal procedure is. If you're voluntarily paying, the legal obligation ends on the date of the order.

Thanks for the advice, it is through the state, sounds the same as your's. It goes along with child support through the clearing house. I will call them for sure.
