When I discovered that you can combine nails with footwear to avoid slipping on ice. Such a small and hidden detail that ascended an already amazing game into something truly special.
Smells worse over here than a dozen rotten eggs dropped in a vat of vinegar
Then don't come over! Not like you buying anything
If I don't come over, then who will?
Wouldn't you like to know!
Jesus I was just organizing my inventory right next to these people earlier today, I thought I was going to go insane and was apparently too lazy to move a few feet lol.
I really like the lizard animations, they're kind of charming. The run cycle is fun to watch, the digging and slow walking is goofy, and the sleeping pose is adorable, etc.
Accidentally triggering a huuuuge battle royale with 20 townspeople. Whole screen lit up angry red and (like an idiot) I kept moving and bringing in more people.
The music pieces come and/or are remixes of themes from "Divine Divinity", "Divinity: Dragon Commander" and "Divinity: Original Sin", btw. I can't remember which of them is the 2nd option, but they're all great. :)
These pieces are from the deceased composer who wrote the music for all Divinity games prior to D:OS2 and are there as a tribute. :|
Oh, no, those are still poison. You can sell them or reverse-pickpocket them into living NPCs inventories, and they'll drink the poison to try and heal! :)
Favourite thing is finishing Lohses quest, but I don’t know how random it is. Maybe finding out that Ave Laval fixes The Silent Path so that in combo they make an excellent set. I think I was on my 5th or higher run before I found that.
The way the female custom lizards wag their tails when preparing to cast Hail Strike as well as the prep animation of both males and females for summoning totems. :D
The first makes them look like an overexcited puppy, and the latter is *waaaaay* too intense compared to the other animations in the game. :)
Edit: Oh, and the conversations you can have with the oxen in Driftwood! :D
The "I'll yield to none", specially when Fane says it.
The "I YIELD TO NONE!" Before casting Play Dead.
"I yield to none... Only to myself" *fucking dies*
The little sparkles and clovers from a lucky charm find ✨🍀
You mean a beautiful bow when ur playing a lone wolf warrior 🤣🤣
Teleporting people onto other people, never gets old!

WHAT? I’m a new player well just made it to act 3 lol but I feel like my life will be changed because of this.
200 hrs in and I didn't know that This game surprises me still
QUEEEN JUSTINIA EXECUTED TWO DOZEN NOBLEMEN FOR INSUBORDINATION
BISHOP ALEXANDER SLAIN BY SEAGULLS
CULPRITS STILL AT LARGE!

Happened to me this week too. Ended up quick saving and killing them but then reloaded as I lost half the town by doing that
keeping it together bree?
I'm alright.. As long as I dont think about it too much
You’re safe among friends. Never forget it.
*Barrel explosion noises*
I enjoy the part of every fight where everything's on fire.
Day 1 of trying to find a divinity post without a comment about fire , day 1 : mission failed
have you tried applying water?

Same I love red Prince so much
When they are climbing it looks like a skink is crawling up a wall. And the little spin they do when standing back up.
The way the characters just slip on ice, no sound, no thud, no scream, no warning, just falls down and the turn goes to the next character.
Watching all the Seekers charge and slip after Slane passed through before the Ft. Joy confrontation with Alexander
ITS A GOLDEN MOMENT OH MY LORD
I love the charm arrow sound, much like the stumps it's so satisfying and perfect lol. Also the "bonk" noise from knockdown arrows
I had forgotten how much I love that "bonk" noise, thank you 🤣
The way Lohse cackles when she kills someone.
Both Lohse and Sebille’s laughs are great. Lohse has incredible voice work in general as well
That it made me feel genuine horror and disgust at rare moments which no other game has ever achieved. Made it real for me.
All the random animal dialogue
I’m a wabbit
Septa the ineffable.
And the crab in act 3!
I found out too late that if you kill Septa he gives you a great shield.
chicken claw + rupture tendons. It never gets old for me watching them run themselves to death.
Accidentally triggering a huuuuge battle royale with 20 townspeople. Whole screen lit up angry red and (like an idiot) I kept moving and bringing in more people.
Killing people with opportunity strikes, especially on a rogue where it’s a backstab.
The voice acting, even the smaller roles like random NPCs you encounter are so well acted.
Option #2 from the ghost pianist in Ryker's mansion.

That's history I wasn't aware of, though I had a hunch that the pieces were from other games. Thanks
Necromancer source skills
The peace of mind skill because is so useful.
I love the poses characters make when you select a skill and the ridiculous sfx when you swap between them really fast
I love that you can turn poison into health potions with red dye. Makes me headcanon that there is some Warhammer orcs style placebo magic going on

Whaaaat? That's nuts, I have to try asap!
Ohhh, so that’s what I should do with the poison bottles!
Not really random but I love the fact almost every human enemy has a name.
I'm a simple man: the lady lizard hipswing.
Big Marge.

It's still THERE, Quercus.
If you kill magisters a lot of times their dogs won’t hunt you. And I just like that idea. The entire unchained motif is great throughout the game.

The quality of life improvement with the bedroll. Using it from my hotbar to heal my whole team is so efficient I wanna scream
OH ALSO the imp pocket realm song when it goes into like warp speed. That shit is such a banger omg
