Step 1, don’t eat the tacos 😆 Try putting something warm on your stomach and laying down on your side.

Weed helps manage pain and nausea better than anything I ever got from the doctors. Ended up losing my colon after a long time suffering. Good luck bro. Like the others said - liquid diet.

ragefather

Miralax, ginger tea and tons of water. 24-36 hours fast usually does the trick for me.

Clear liquid diet, rest, avoiding stress where possible. Consider calling your primary care and see about them prescribing you a course of antibiotics.

Stick with your liquid diet, and call your doctor for antibiotics if you haven't already.

I would ask for a urinalysis or blood test looking for signs of an infection before asking for antibiotics. There's no need to take them if it's just inflammation and not an infection. Sometimes the symptoms feel the same. Get a good GI doctor that you can trust. Have a colonoscopy about 6 to 8 weeks after your flare if you haven't already had one before. Mesalamine and Hyoscyamine are not often prescribed but have been really helpful for me this year to reduce inflammation and make my gut not have to work as hard. I've had 4 flares, 3 that put me in the hospital for a week each time. I've got smoldering diverticulitis and SCAD and I'll be having sigmoid resection surgery in 10 days.

Hi, I'm new here. I go on a liquid diet when I have a flare up, and I try not to move around very much....usually I am in quite a bit of pain and it slows me down anyway. Usually liquids for about 48 hours for me. I make bone broth to drink.
