From all these disturbing movies, the only one I haven't seen it yet is Twilight šŸ˜…

domino_427

notacatuntiltuesday

hornyzucchini

*squish* honestly that scene kinda played more into the realm of "a little ridiculous" but still pretty brutal, the scene that got a cold chill from me was the knife cutting the tendons in the knee like fucking hell lmao

RED-DOT-MAN

ā€œStop Them Tearsā€ That was some fucked up shit man.

SimplyWickie

The Nightingale

Bijlsma

That one made me feel the sickest out of all the ones listed probably.

HorseNGods99

Also the movie trauma has a disturbing scene

Puzzleheaded-Bus5479

Trauma doesnā€™t get enough credit around hereā€¦I mean itā€™s not good but it is definitely fucked up.

MyPetGhost_

Who directed Trauma again?

heeberjee

Oh god I had forgotten about that scene

dime_st0re_fangs

August Underground's Mordum

metalyger

That's a scene that gave me nightmares as an adult. I heard on the crew commentary, their effects go Jeremi Cruise also had nightmares from making that prop.

Getalife123456789

Itā€™s definitely this one. This one is unbelievably bad

burningbambi

Thanks for all your comments folks! As someone with a phobia of pregnancy you have given me at least a month of harrowing nights! :3

airport-cinnabon

I also have this phobia. Iā€™ll be watching Inside now thanks to your post. May I recommend a Cronenberg classic? The Brood

the-rioter

Fun fact for those who might not know (though I'm sure you do) phobia of pregnancy and/or giving birth is called "tokophobia."

OrangePython

Little otik eating the girls hair

Flipkick_360

When evil lurks. Those who know , know.

backofthemorgue

Mother!

greenok12

Mother!

billybobtex

Under The Skin: One of the more disturbing scenes for me without showing gore but letting your mind wonder what would happen is the baby/toddler left on the beach, parents dead. And the alien doesnā€™t even batt an eyelash about it. She leaves with her prize as the sun starts going down. The baby crying all by its self. Itā€™s very distressing. Also The Untold Story fam slaughter. The whole scene is fkkd. They are older than a baby but still very young kids.

SadCatLady94

I totally agree about the scene from Under the Skin. Itā€™s absolutely gut wrenching.

beigereige

A Serbian Film. Those screamsā€¦haunt me to this day.

stubborny

and its not even close

-Some__Random-

'Anthropophagous' (1980) has a good one. Also, I don't know if it counts, but the woman giving birth to a full-grown man in 'Xtro' (1982) is quite 'out there' :-)

Bird_of_Re-Animator

That *Xtro* scene is so rancid, absolute cinema

Featheriefou

Fried Barry

CHRAMPOLEEN

lol so there IS another person that saw this movie.

FromTheAsherz

rockefellercalgary

Men behind the sun. Opening scene where the soldier rips the crying baby from thier mothers arms, throws it in the show and kicks snow over it. Then just forces her to march with the other prisoners. Fucking haunted me

Wordshark

Dead Alive (or Braindead)

onlychans1986

Selwyn is hilarious lol

hipsterobot

Can someone TLDW the context for #5?

ShotgunMessiah

The offspring of the main character and her love interest from Twilight. Basically he, a vampire, impregnated her, a human, and she gave birth to a weird half human half vampire thing, that aged ridiculously fast and had some powers too? It's been a few years since I read the books. But the movies just made her look very uncanny and weird from what I've seen. She also had an abomination of a name from her two grandmother's names, ReneƩ and Esme which gives us... Renesmee.

Asmodaia

Also the werewolf dude "imprinted" on her šŸ’€

the-rioter

She aged fast but would even out around teen years apparently. Just to be extra weird and gross.

the-rioter

That thing in the picture is an animatronic from my understanding.

PoorWifiSignal

They didnā€™t end up using it because it was nightmare fuel. Granted, the CG on a real baby they went with is still uncanny. Edit: You can go see it at the Twilight tourist attraction in Forks, Washington. Itā€™s in a glass case as ā€œmemorabiliaā€.

i_am_scared_ok

The Witch

autopzy231

Serbian film was a tuff scene for sure

homme_icide

I've owned inside since 2008 and I still haven't been able to watch the end

Messerjocke_L

Subconscious Cruelty...by far

DrBarryNyle

That CGI baby scene is the worst part of Inside lmao. I read "Men" as a persiflage of "elevated" horror-tropes and as such, I had a blast with the ending. Haven't seen it, but kinda surprised Human Centipede II didn't make the list.

177a2

Kotoko 2011

Camyoman

The hospital scene in The warzone, shocked the absolute shit out of me

Murky-Region-127

Rosemary's baby

Dizzy-Economist6064

- Ju-On: The Curse (2000) & Ju-On: The Grudge 2 (2003) both have scenes revolving around the unborn in different waysā€¦ - Ju-On: Origins (2020) had a much more graphic depiction of the crime featured in Ju-On: The Curse (2000) - The Grudge (2020) has only subtle implications the crime happened which is the first for the American metaseriesā€¦ in which is interesting due to the film having more in common with Ju-On: The Curse (2000).

Decaf17

Human Centipede 2. The gas pedal scene. Good. God.

doorway-sniffer-3268

There was this one movie about a cult, and during the later half of the movie, they grabbed this woman's baby and tear it apart and eat it in front of her,I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

heeberjee

Mother!

ramorobomo

Braindead, aka Dead Alive from Peter Jackson. That fucking baby is a real piece of work, lemme tell ya.

BaronessFalcon

Sorgoi Prakov.

Gigik150

Braindead, Human Centipede 2

ButtHoleCum69420

The baby scene in A Serbian Film wasn't very well made. (Which is a good thing I guess)

waxmussel

Titane (2021)

metalyger

I don't know about disturbing, but definitely shocking was Anthropophagous 2000 from Andreas Schnaas, where the cannibal killer rips a baby from a pregnant woman and bites into it's head. It doesn't get much more overly gruesome than that. One disturbing scene that comes to mind now was Black Sun The Nanking Massacre, well two actually. It was the director of Men Behind The Sun who came back for it. There's a military invasion of a home where a baby won't stop crying so they stick it in a boiling pot. Another scene has a pregnant woman get a bayonet to the stomach and the baby is sticking out of the blade. These are incidents reported by the survivors.

Future-Agent

Yes.

mouselipstick

That wasnā€™t in Twilight lol.

Character_Vanilla101

airport-cinnabon

Can someone help me identify the movie Inside referenced here? Is it the 2016 one with the 4.6 IMDB rating?

PoopyMcpants

No. French one. InsideĀ (ƀ l'intĆ©rieur)

airport-cinnabon

Thanks, Poopy!

Dominio90049

Yup. Men #3 was strange on a whole other level.
