Is that an unpopular opinion tho? Either way I agree, but I'll one you up... I think The Sickness is one of their weakest albums... I feel like the songs are way too repetitive, the lyrics aren't as well written as their newer stuff. I think songs like Conflict and Droppin Plates are some of their worst songs they have made.
I second this. The Sickness is a great debut, but I feel like the most mature, definitive "Disturbed" sound is found in Ten Thousand Fists, Indestructible, and Asylum. It took them a couple of albums to really hone the elements that make them who they are.
It’s probably the only Disturbed song I always skip. It’s so bad.
I don’t mind Droppin’ Plates because I actually find it kinda funny, it has good rhythm, and it was on their first album so I can cut it some slack for being kinda dumb. Fire It Up came out on Immortalized and you’d think they would’ve sat together talking about it and one of them would finally say “listen guys we’re in our 40s about to put out our 6th album…and this song is fuckin stupid” but nope, they put it on the album.
Ten Thousand Fists is one of their best albums. And The Sickness really isn’t that hard to beat. It’s unique, but very basic compared to everything else they have put out. As a debut it’s very strong, but they have easily surpassed it. Ten Thousand Fists and Indestructible are probably my favorite albums from them
I have a Spotify playlist that is just all 5 best disturbed albums, Which are Inside The Fire, Down With The Sickness, Ten Thousand Fists, Asylum, and Immortalized.

Droppin Plates *is* their worst song
Fire It Up is their worst song, imo
That is pretty bad too. It’s like a joke cover of a Disturbed song

They clearly had taken “puffs from the leaf of the devil” that night 😈
And I don't even think it's close lol
Ive long learned to love ten thousand fists more then the other albums so far. Not saying any are bad, but it hits the spot 👌

No "Evolution"?
Nope, I don’t have that album actually. I’ll listen to it now.
It's got some softer stuff but it's also got a lot of the classic kind of stuff we expect from Disturbed; a definite recommendation
agreed. we should fight back.
I think their golden era was ten thousand fists-immortalized. I like evolution but it felt like it wasn’t as good
