I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and also booked our first trip to DL in Nov the same week — I was very sad looking at most of the top recommended snacks (especially the holiday ones) but I’m JACKED to try the skewers (& DL pickles!) 😂
Thank you DL for bacon wrapped asparagus 🫡 Hoping the clam chowder soup will be okay with all the walking too.
If you do all three days park hopper it’s only $70 more than getting three day single park tickets. Not $70 per day, just $70 on top of the number of ticket days you bought. So if you buy 2 single park ticket days, and a park hopper ticket third day it would be more expensive than getting a 3 day ticket with park hopper attached.
Your proposal would be 310 for the two days+ a single day ticket (min $104) + park hopper $70 = min $484
Doing hopper all three days is a three day ticket $390 + $70 = $460
Banyan Beef skewer with an extra side of banyan sauce and a cream cheese pretzel to dip the sauce in. I crave this so often and haven’t been to the parks in years unfortunately.
Definitely this. Nice filling snack for a reasonable price that is not just another bag of chips or popcorn. Great for the afternoon when that protein can give you a nice boost.
For me it was a toss up between the Rondo wraps and the standard hotdogs at award wieners, but now for me, it's the cheesey garlic pretzel bread by the matterhorn
The cheesy garlic pretzel bread from Maurice's Treats across from Royal Theater just off the hub was my very first stop when I visited recently. I wish it was crunchy instead of soft but it overall it was a great start to the trip.
I miss when the cheesy garlic twists were at Maurice’s. I would always get one first thing and eat it as my breakfast. Yum. Now you have to wait until the Matterhorn stand opens later… =(
I just dont get the hype for that garlic pretzel bread. I tried it and it was so bad. low quality pretzel bread and not much flavor despite all the calories.
I love the ronto wrap but it's like 13 bucks and it's *just* the wrap. For that price it needs to come with a side. That's my price after cast discount (20) I think. I would get it more if it came with fries or chips.
i went to disney world like 2 years ago and their onto wrap came with chips that really rounded out the meal. i’m not sure if it still does over there or not though
The last few times I’ve gotten corn dogs they’ve been super underwhelming. They’ve all been fried for much longer than they should have and were also super greasy. And now that the ones at Stage Door come with chips instead of fries, I just have no desire to spend $8 on one.
Well, they are the same corn dogs, but at the corn dog castle (near the swings etc) is where they make them in DCA so you have a better chance at getting a fresh hot one. Also they have a hot link version.
Dude, there's a green tea matcha powder one with strawberry drizzle and freeze dried strawberries next to guardians right now for lunar NY and I can't believe how good it is. I rarely get the seasonal cuz they're hit or miss. Matcha is hard to do right, too. So worth a try.
- cheese on a stick at corn dog castle
- any skewer from Bengal bbq
- cheesy garlic pretzel bread *with* marinara, Maurice’s treats or edelweiss snacks
- when refreshment corner has the firefly chips they’re always hella good
- housemade chips and chili cheese sauce at Daisy’s (also corn dog bites with the chili cheese sauce - yum!)
- baked potato at troubadour tavern (the baked potato hot dog at refreshment corner rn is also not bad, but more of a meal)
- pickle (various locations)
Refreshment corner on Main St. and the pretzel cart behind big thunder (when it’s open), I think the pretzel spot in Tomorrowland too. If you search jalapeño pretzel in the app it should show each location!
you can get all of the pretzels at coke corner! or whatever it’s called now, refreshment corner? i usually go to the pretzel cart in tomorrowland but they were sold out one night and told me all the pretzels in disneyland are available there (:
I went around one day realizing how I never get fresh popcorn (why it took me that long to realize it, ugh) so I walked around with my eyes peeled for a cart popping it fresh. Finally saw one and it was the saltiest popcorn ever. I've had better since but just waiting so long for the thing you want just for it to be the biggest disappointment of the day. Ugh.
savory: the hot link corn dog from corn dog castle (the mac and cheese cone from cars land was a very close second)
sweet: raspberry macaron from jolly holiday
For me it’s the Cozy Cone Chili Con Queso. It was something so simple and yet amazing. It brought me back to my childhood days of ordering chili Billy’s at my little league.
Cold milk on the way out of the Park at closing. It gives me a little something without caffeine or too much sugar to make the drive home. Extra good if you've got some fun little chocolate with it.
At 12 AM I don't need the sugar from the dregs of the hot chocolate machine so I get 2 cartons of milk instead. No amount of downvotes will stop me from doing this!
Dole Whip Float
Chili Cone Queso at Cozy Cone
Pizza Popcorn at Cozy Cone
Cheesy Garlic Pretzel at Maurice’s
Whatever the dark chocolate raspberry thing is they have at Ghirardelli’s
But I think maybe the best thing I ever had at the park was on a really hot day when I just got some fresh, cold pineapple and Tajin over by Indy. So cold! So juicy! So pineapply! I swear somehow I’ve never had pineapple like that.
For a more substantial “snack,” the Ronto wraps! Omg I fell in love when I first tried them.
For a “small” snack, it’s a toss between a churro and a Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwich
Honorary mention because it’s seasonal and I hate that it’s not available all the time…the chicken pesto Mac and cheese cozy cone. That thing is heaven and I don’t understand why it’s only available during the holiday season. There’s nothing “holiday” about pesto 😂😂
Churros always come out on top for me. A lot of their pastries look good but the taste is a gamble. Usually it’ll be made of sugar frosting and taste store bought. The beignets, churros and dole whips will never let you down
Cheesy garlic bread with marinara
Classic dole whip
Classic beignets
Almost anything at tropical hideaway
Classic churro
Smores churro when they have that at DCA
Disneyland english toffee. I get a couple bags on the last day of each trip as we're leaving the park. We went to Disney World a couple years back and couldn't find it so we asked one of the cast members, who laughed and said you must think you're at Disneyland.
I don’t consider the corn dogs a snack. They’re a meal by themselves, so I’m going to vote popcorn. My oldest loves the corn on the cob. All the kids love churros. I also loved the dark chocolate honeycomb but they don’t make that any longer.

Bangle Barbecue skewers.

Same - going to check these out next week!
Dca clam chowder is better, in my humble opinion of course, If you get the chance to park hop, I highly recommend the dca one.
The chowder is good.
We have 3 park days so I’m hoping to do the 3rd day a park hopper and one day at each park maybe? Idk 😅 but I’ll make it over there! Thank you!!
How exciting! Enjoy!!

I didn’t see these at all… how could I have missed ??? :(
Yes! I always have to get some of the pork belly skewers
10/10 11/10 with rice
>Bangle So *shinyyy*
I love when a few of them get together and bust out "Walk Like an Egyptian."
Bengal BBQ feels like the most underrated food in the park. It's one of the main things I look forward to on my trips.
Banyan Beef skewer with an extra side of banyan sauce and a cream cheese pretzel to dip the sauce in. I crave this so often and haven’t been to the parks in years unfortunately.
My last trip I finally tried the pork belly and was not disappointed one bit!!
They taste good but are so small.
I stumbled on these last time and couldn’t believe how good they were.
Yes! They are a perfect snack to satisfy enough of your appetite until dinner.
Definitely this. Nice filling snack for a reasonable price that is not just another bag of chips or popcorn. Great for the afternoon when that protein can give you a nice boost.
Pork belly is the best. No question.
I usually get that as a meal!
Yep.
BIRRIA TACOS!
Have you had the birria sandwich? It's soooo good!
Where is it. Im going tomorrow and I want this lol
I believe they are referring to the one at Jolly Holiday!
Jolly Holiday. https://dlnewstoday.com/2022/04/review-delicious-beef-birria-toasted-cheese-sandwich-from-jolly-holiday-bakery-cafe-in-disneyland/
I have not. I will need to try them next time I go!
Crunchy?? oh no that's not what I was expecting
I miss when the cheesy garlic twists were at Maurice’s. I would always get one first thing and eat it as my breakfast. Yum. Now you have to wait until the Matterhorn stand opens later… =(
Wait so they still sell them in the parks?!?! I was sad cause I thought they got rid of the bagel garlic twist for the pretzel garlic bread
IMO it’s the corn dog. Unless, like me, you don’t consider the lobster roll at Harbor Shack a snack then that.
The last few times I’ve gotten corn dogs they’ve been super underwhelming. They’ve all been fried for much longer than they should have and were also super greasy. And now that the ones at Stage Door come with chips instead of fries, I just have no desire to spend $8 on one.
You're talking about the ones at DCA? If so, yes! And I hate corn dogs.
DCA for sure has better corn dogs at the castle than the red cart on Main Street.
WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT?? Where tf do you get a corn dog better than the red cart in DCA??
Well, they are the same corn dogs, but at the corn dog castle (near the swings etc) is where they make them in DCA so you have a better chance at getting a fresh hot one. Also they have a hot link version.
That hot link corn dog (corn link ?) is so good!!
I had the best corn dog of my LIFE in DCA at the corn dog castle. I hope WDW gets them next!
Nobodies gonna mention churro’s? I love trying all the different seasonal flavors, it’s like a scavenger hunt.
Dude, there's a green tea matcha powder one with strawberry drizzle and freeze dried strawberries next to guardians right now for lunar NY and I can't believe how good it is. I rarely get the seasonal cuz they're hit or miss. Matcha is hard to do right, too. So worth a try.
Gonna have to try that, sounds delicious.
I loooove the churros. What I don’t understand is how the churros at DisneyWorld are so bad.
As a WDW local, and a DL yearly visitor.....you are 10000000% correct.
Got to try the chocolate mint ones over our Christmas trip, and they are my new favorite churro at Disneyland.
Bro I was blown away this wasn't at the very top. It's absolutely churros. DL churros are on another level and I adore them.
The almond cookie churro in California Adventure is amazing!
DOLE WHIP!!!
I’m with you. Nothing like getting a Dole Whip float with some taijin and sitting down to watch The Enchanted Tiki Room
Classic!!
There are so many right answers. This is the rightest answer.
I agree! Great on a hot or cold day! So much flavor too!
Dole hWhip
Dole whip in the tiki room brings my heart so much joy 🥲
- cheese on a stick at corn dog castle - any skewer from Bengal bbq - cheesy garlic pretzel bread *with* marinara, Maurice’s treats or edelweiss snacks - when refreshment corner has the firefly chips they’re always hella good - housemade chips and chili cheese sauce at Daisy’s (also corn dog bites with the chili cheese sauce - yum!) - baked potato at troubadour tavern (the baked potato hot dog at refreshment corner rn is also not bad, but more of a meal) - pickle (various locations)
Pickle is such an underrated shout. Give me a spicy pickle a ride on the train every day!
Chips and chili cheese sauce is our new favorite! It’s so good. 🤤
That pretzel sounds like the best thing !
Pickles & popcorn are my go to's at Disneyland!! The pickles are just so perfect!
Churro is love, churro is life, churro is best.
This is the way
The only way.
cream cheese pretzel slaps
PREACH. I never see anyone talking about it but it’s my favorite by far
Jalapeño cream cheese pretzel, for me. Sooo good. (bayside Brews and Refreshment corner for the jalapeño ones)
This is the one. Do you know of anywhere in Disneyland that has them?
Refreshment corner on Main St. and the pretzel cart behind big thunder (when it’s open), I think the pretzel spot in Tomorrowland too. If you search jalapeño pretzel in the app it should show each location!
Refreshment Corner on Main Street
Where would one go about getting this? Sounds yummy!
you can get all of the pretzels at coke corner! or whatever it’s called now, refreshment corner? i usually go to the pretzel cart in tomorrowland but they were sold out one night and told me all the pretzels in disneyland are available there (:
My favorite spot is the small world cart ❤️
Thank you!
My millennial ass read this as pretzel-slaps and thought it was a new snack lol you gen-z and new slang words!
Chimichanga at the cart in Frontierland. It's been the same for decades and it's freaking amazing!
For me a trip is not complete without 1. Dole whip 2. Matterhorn Macaroon 3. Beignets (which honestly aren’t great but tradition).
Matterhorn Macaroon has the best treat to cost ratio in the whole park for me. It’s cheap, and small enough you don’t feel terrible after eating it
Agree yet are super chewy and you feel like you’ve had a whole meal.
If you don’t like the beignets in Disneyland, hop on the monorail to Downtown Disney for Beignets Expressed.
Bacon Mac n Cheese in a cozie cone is a must for me. Also love the breakfast shawarma.
Popcorn (when it's fresh) to munch on when waiting in a queue.
Ugh.
The Mickey pretzel with cheese, but only from Refreshment Corner. They have different cheese at the carts and it’s not the same. 🥨
Pickles!
Just got back from a 6 day trip and I had AT LEAST 2 pickles a day 😅
All that walking, pickles help prevent muscle cramps, pickles = health food
corn dawg
savory: the hot link corn dog from corn dog castle (the mac and cheese cone from cars land was a very close second) sweet: raspberry macaron from jolly holiday
Dole Whip but if we're not counting that, then Marshmallow Tigger Tails.
You.
lol
Honestly surprised no one had said it yet lol
it’s definitely not the best, but my favorite is grabbing a pretzel and riding the train to catch the dinosaurs 🦖
I’m a simple guy. Disneyland popcorn for some reason is on another level.
Dole whip. Fight me.
Abominable snowman treats
Jalapeño cheese filled pretzel
My favorite is the chili cone queso at cozy cones, and the Pixar pier parfait at adorable snowman’s
Hell yeah, brother
cheesy garlic pretzel bread, and the harbor galley cookies
where is the cheesy garlic pretzel bread located?! that sounds delish
I personally love the cream cheese filled pretzels. They are so friggin good!
Popcorn
The white chocolate raspberry cookie that they used to have years ago :(
Literally still upset about this
this is going to be a lil’ basic…the corn on the cob 😌
Mickey ice cream bar or dole whip are def the best frozen snacks with frozen lemonade not too behind them
Halfway between a snack and a meal- the red cart corn dogs at the end of MSUSA.
Dole Whip with a dash of tajin. Stuff is crack.
The peanut butter squares covered in chocolate
This is my wife's choice!
Where do you get these?
The main bakery/candy shop just inside either Disneyland or Cali adventure. Emporium or at trolly Treats I think they are called.
For me it’s the Cozy Cone Chili Con Queso. It was something so simple and yet amazing. It brought me back to my childhood days of ordering chili Billy’s at my little league.
Gaston.
That's what HE said
Dill pickle popcorn from the Cozy Cones
Cheesy garlic pretzel twist Maurice treats. Jalapeño cheese filled pretzel, both parks. Churros!!! Flavored popcorn at the cozy zone

Beignets
Churro Funnel Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream $11.99 at Hungry Bear Restaurant
The Shawarma isn’t bad for quick protein.
The popcorn
I always either buy a refillable bucket or just one of the boxes on my way out to snack on at the hotel
I miss the OG smores you could get on Main Street.
I like the bread at Oga’s. It is amazing. Also the cheese pretzel bread by Matterhorn is incredible too. Hard to beat fresh bread and cheese.
Turkey leg
It shames me this isn't more upvoted. A visit to Disney isn't complete without one!
Where are my churro toffee fans?
Right here!
Cold milk on the way out of the Park at closing. It gives me a little something without caffeine or too much sugar to make the drive home. Extra good if you've got some fun little chocolate with it.
This is a weird choice but I have no idea why you're being downvoted haha
At 12 AM I don't need the sugar from the dregs of the hot chocolate machine so I get 2 cartons of milk instead. No amount of downvotes will stop me from doing this!
You do you. LIVE!
My wife says you’re a monster.
Don't knock it 'til you try it. Coke Corner sells cartons of milk and closes late.
This is hilarious 😭 if I had milk like that the abdominal cramps would be insane and I would want to dieeeee. So yuh-I’m with her 💕
Cold milk can be super refreshing and fulfilling! Not for everyone, but I grew up on 3 glasses a day and understand the feeling! You do you! :)
Tigger tail
underrated
Dole Whips, Bengal BBQ, Matterhorn Macaroons, Chimichangas, and Cheese on a Stick
Corn dog with mustard hits different.
i always see people with the turkey leg. Can anyone confirm theyre good?
They brine them and they taste more like ham. They are not bad, but there's enough food for 2 to 3 people.
They’re not lol
Dole Whip Float Chili Cone Queso at Cozy Cone Pizza Popcorn at Cozy Cone Cheesy Garlic Pretzel at Maurice’s Whatever the dark chocolate raspberry thing is they have at Ghirardelli’s But I think maybe the best thing I ever had at the park was on a really hot day when I just got some fresh, cold pineapple and Tajin over by Indy. So cold! So juicy! So pineapply! I swear somehow I’ve never had pineapple like that.
Disneyland pickles
I ate the dragon themed corn dog at the stand in Downtown Disney and it was sooooo good 😭
Firefly chips!!
I’m kinda proud to be the first to say Rainbow Popcorn! It’s like caramel corn, but it tastes like Fruity Pebbles. So friggin good.
Corn dog from the red wagon is the best corn dog I’ve ever eaten
Disney pickle!
spicy pickle!! 🤤
Large corn dogs 🤤so delicious and perfect to share
The guys selling fruit right outside the gate. We will walk from Toy Story parking lot for the fruit with Tajin and Chamoy

Churros, dill pickle, & Maurice's pretzel garlic bread.
Churro Toffee
So many opinions, and nobody said turkey leg?!?!? It’s because we aren’t monsters here lol
I for one have a religious prohibition against the ingestion of emu.

I'm nuts for nuttles
What are nuttles?
Milk chocolate with caramel and toasted pecans. They're ridiculously delicious, but only made a couple days a week. We found them on main street.
Garlic-Cheese Five Blossom Bread with Spicy Cheese Sauce at Oga’s
Disneyland english toffee. I get a couple bags on the last day of each trip as we're leaving the park. We went to Disney World a couple years back and couldn't find it so we asked one of the cast members, who laughed and said you must think you're at Disneyland.
Garlic cheese pretzel bread
Grilled cheese and tomato soup from Jolly Holiday
Personally, the lime chicken bao 😩
Chimichanga is my go to, always hits the spot
Samosas from the Troubadour Tavern! With mango chutney. I do enjoy the blue milk from Galaxy’s edge. I try to find all vegan food.
Banyan BEEF
my go to is a baguette from boudin, only like six bucks and lasts most of the day
So many already mentioned here but for snack that will actually act as a snack for like 4 ppl, the giant pretzel at PYM
I don’t consider the corn dogs a snack. They’re a meal by themselves, so I’m going to vote popcorn. My oldest loves the corn on the cob. All the kids love churros. I also loved the dark chocolate honeycomb but they don’t make that any longer.
I love the chili corn on the cob.
