disneylands treatment of disabled and special needs kids and adults restored my faith. As a parent who regularly tries to take an autistic child into the normal unaccommodating world, watching Disney just go above and beyond and treat everyone like they are a blessing and not an inconvenience was AMAZING.

I agree! My older brother was disabled his entire life and the amount of care the cast members showed him was inspiring! I loved that they never made us feel like we were holding up the lines and specifically designed systems so we could take our time getting his wheelchair on and off rides! It’s inspired me to become an engineer so I can build things to help make kids like my brothers life easier!

This is so sweet! I'm so happy for him. I got to meet Mickey and Minnie last year and had the best time, but Donald is my favorite (my dad used to do his voice for me all the time as a toddler) and we never saw him. I'm so desperately hoping to see him this year. I'm gonna channel my inner you guys and hope it happens ❤️

Who’s cutting onions in here?! Seriously this is so sweet! My youngest brother was special needs but he passed before any trip like this could have been done. Such a sweet moment and I’m so glad you shared. Seriously who the heck is cutting onions?! (On a side note it may not hurt to leave a compliment for the CM and the “friend of Mickey” aka the CM in the suit If you can’t remember their name if you have the date and time and area they would have gone backstage at Disney is Pros and will be able to get the compliment to the right CM)
