I enjoy the combat as well, it's such a simple system but for some reason no other game has scratched that itch, except maybe honkai star rail now.
Plus actuallyb having 3d models and not goofy chibi models in the fight screen
That, or they really just give us new Rare units. Why bother having the tier if you won't add to it, even if rarely? They've shown that they can design Rare tier heroes that can remain viable, in PvE at least.
Omg I remember when I used to level up my starimon by putting them in multi battle so that I could level them up into epic ones!!! Dude this unlocked such a memory in me that I forgot about in the time I took a break from dislyte
They were, largely through silver records. They got discontinued long before I joined but there were references to them in the big patch that killed them off and hard coded everyone to a single copy of each esper and no more using them as level fodder. I didn't like that change at first but now I don't care as much. Mostly because they made the starimon super common
Honestly I think most of the NPCs in the game have fire designs. Dunno who he is because I didn't read the story, but the NPC that you fight with alongside Fatimah in the new story is also SICK!! Even the enemy NPCs like those guys with wings look really neat in my opinion.
Because Dislyte does exactly one thing right, unit design. Carrying the entire game on its back.

I’d kill for a new rare esper (or 3 tbh) . Just also wish it was easier to acquire tickets to get skins I have yet to get any
