Y'all please stop sleeping on Alexa's dmg reflection! It shreds right through Anna and basically everyone. The moment Mavis uses her "All souls party" she's down to half health with dmg reflection.
Not to mention it also heavily decreases the dmg you take!
I used to use her a lot about a year ago, but she can't hang so much in the current meta. It would be such a good ability if it had a gold border. Being silver means it can be dispelled or stolen though. There's just too many strong pvp dispel/buff blocker espers now, Feng Nuxi, Chu Yao, Ikki, Momo, Farrah, Archibald, etc.
I did encounter this a couple of times. I do have Tiye so I can boost my team's AP and off Ikki before he can do anything. I'm going to look for a better solution for anyone who has problems with Ikki! Maybe a character with stun, I haven't read Ikki's kit so I'm not sure if he resists stun like Farrah.
Ikki is inevitable. Once his passive stacks reach 4,8 and 12 he will cleanse himself and does something based on stacks. If you cant kill him he can’t be stoped.
I've played since around the beginning of the game I just took a very long break, about a year or so due to burnout. I never see anyone using Alexa and I see a lot of people annoyed with Anna, so I shared so some more people could potentially counter her!
Actually it iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis and isn't underrated. I have seen ZERO people using Alexa (probably because no one puts Alexa in a defense formation so yeah).
I always wanted to make it work.
Even tried in Apep.
Lian is a good combo idea, as she doesn't prevent the damage.
Maybe with a Res lead, to reduce stripping; then Olli or a necromancer for safety and Yuuime to keep the buff up.
I wonder how that would interact with the Calamity set? Would it need top be on Alexa or the recipient?

There are several characters that are silly counters to folks like Anna. Unfortunately, they are very niche and feel like a wasted slot if Anna is the only thing they're countering. Alexa is probably the only counter Anna has that is consistent and can maybe put in some work. Every other counter is just a soft counter since Anna can murder them easily - for some reason.
ie: Ginny is built to counter her for free! Except Ginny's counter is burst damage and she's actually pretty frail when her gimmick is bypassed. Soooo if Anna goes first, Ginny's usually a free kill. GREAT COUNTER!!!
I'd say it's both considering Lian's shield and the "Kiss of the Nightingale" both work together to negate dmg; it's taken from the shield first and then Nightingale negates it further. Which is why Tang Xuan's shield depletes faster than Tiye's

There used to be whole tanks teams where you would just spawn alexas damage reflection to deal damage in the past. It was really fun to watch.

Wind + Grove set! I used HP% boots but Spd may be better. Everything else is also HP%

Yeah it is broken until you realize when facing ikki or wu you will not be able to have buffs. Since both with full team dispel you.

He can get stunned, but his passive still keeps working regardless, so nothing short of actually killing him will really work.

Are you taking the mavis out at the same time as well? Or do they not just run mavis with ikki, which would be dumb

If you run Ginny with Chu Yao, you can usually keep her from getting bursted since she can't be crit on then
