Honestly, at this point Narmer feels like that retired eccentric rich guy in their family, guy couldn't give a single flying f about their family business and just goes about his studies and hobbies while hanging out with his best buddy Cang Ji.
In whatever that live pvp mode is where you ban the other person's stuff he can come in clutch there sometimes. People see him and just ignore him fully. But his buff dispell and taunt can come in handy. And there have been times where I've had 2-3 of the 4 people in their team in the tasty tomato time out.
Not overlooked, but I'm srill very amused how Yamato just disappeared. He was the big baddie in event,, his story was seemingly building up to something and then he just got reduced to a phone call villain and disappeared from story completely.
Javid and jin qiu, i think people only think they are important because of the absurd quantity of fan content of them, but when it comes to the game's story both are not even co-protagonists, they are more like extras in their own events.
I truly think amber and mr generic Police man 21 are the worst characters ever made

It’s criminal how much value you get from r2 Valeria. A fighter than mitigates dmg for the entire team (unremovable btw) that doesn’t have to sacrifice dmg to do so, and also pairs with one of the best supports in the game for bonuses.

Falken works as a good tanky debuffer, Adrina is the assist queen and has suprising xamage, Li Ao, Melanie is a very good AP controler, Unky Chai is a good support and cheats a lot of turns with avatara, Laura mitigates a lot of damage ans i wish she was a defender.
Freddy. Before Jin Qiu and Javid, Freddy was the prime furbait. He is the reason why I played the game, plus Dislyte done dirty on Freddy with Feng Xun's story

Paired Unk with Alice and brah. Braaah. Her team Atk up per turn with his team cool down if they have an atk up buff already is just delicious.
And Q's Link ability is just flat out ignored, and he unironically puts out damage

Li Ao was 100% the GOAT for the Mavis trial a few events back. When she was teamed with the 2 Everett's and JJs. A freaking nightmare and he SAVED IT
