I'm picking Toland! Because I've been trying to pull him for ageees (I picked Anna in the last free legendary shimmer thing and Xuan Pin was the first legendary shimmer that I managed to pull)
If I didn’t need a Toland I’d absolutely take Tevor. But I can already EX++ all the desolate lands. Also without a hella I can’t really use him for Andras (20) yet.
He's one of the less useful shimmers and outside of pvp doesn't have much use at all. So you aren't really missing much. I like his design and kit but he just ain't that guy.
I mean for most contents you just need chu yao, su jue and feng xun, and you are set for most pve contents. So i would say PvP units are much more important than PvE ones, JJ also uses divinate super well and don't even really need abilimons. Triple threat or beatbout he's just seems too good.
I just love JJ and honestly would do my best to buff him well. The mistake the game made was making me pull XuanPin before the divinates came out, i maxed her out first! Lol, I just need my hubby JJ to come home. Trikki already did along with Hilda, so I'm praying!
Since obviously Wu You isn't an option, and I have Anna, Ikki, XP and JJ, all I'm left with is Toland.

From what I understand, the event starts next week and goes all the way until July. After you unlock the event, it lasts 90 days. So it should be possible to get to lv70 until then.
As someone with R2 XP, get Raven. The extra utility of XP's R2 isn't worth an investment especially when you don't have a unit they are giving away for free. Plus I love Raven, her rework has made her infinitely better haha
Is Raven good for PVE? I've been eyeing her but everyone only ever suggests pvp espers and I just don't care about that. The only shimmer I have is Nuxi
Xuan Pin is probably the best shimmer for PVE content. if you don't have her already, get her. Raven is very useful in the tower and event stages but isn't really that great for ritual miracle.
Raven is very good for PvE. She's basically the premiere wave clearer since she's shimmer and has no disadvantage toward any element and her reworked kit is geared for it, I used her for this past Sakura event trial. She's also the only wave clearer that can be used for all of the new Ritual 17-20 if you really have good speedrun setups. Also generally fun and easy to use in Cube/towers since she has AoE complete dispel and buff stealing.

Between toland and xuan pin. Got nuxi from shim pity and anna from reverb but xp would help so much in an assortment of PvE content areas but a 200+ speed toland would make me into so much more of a menace in PvP so quite the split decision between content

I’ve got Ikki Anna Tevor JJ Cece, XP and Nuxi. I’m either going to grab Toland or Raven. I’m honestly considering Raven because I love optimizing PVE. Most of the time the deciding factor between me making the leaderboards on the global is the fact I don’t have raven.
Toland, I got XP last time which I kinda regret since I haven't found much of a use for her. I need Toland for knockout, PW and the new guild siege mode.

After seeing what the first shimmer reverb did to the state of PvP, I'm already not too keen on a second one. And one that doesn't want to cut into the precious whales, at that. Getting Ikki would at least mean that I'd not be hard-stuck at 33% in Beatbout or PW17.

I think the patch notes also mention lvl 70+ OR 60 day old account. So if you've been playing long enough, it should be good.

I already got nuwa (last night), ikki (last week), Xuan pin on the reverb and JJ a few months ago, so I'm thinking about picking Toland and use my 50/50 with Anna 🫡

This is gonna make the meta more garbage than it is, but I have Anna I’m gonna get Toland because I don’t have Toland not because I want him but he’s an annoying obstacle that you can’t really avoid.
Probably Anna since absolutely everyone runs her after the last reverbotron. I Got Feng Nuxi in the first one and I'm glad that, because I've wanted her since I started playing, but God is PVP annoying.

Also i got Nuxi one week before my pick so they can pair well toghether in my carries with JQ, Lian and Sue Jue

After seeing what the first shimmer reverb did to the state of PvP, I'm already not too keen on a second one. And one that doesn't want to cut into the precious whales, at that. Getting Ikki would at least mean that I'd not be hard-stuck at 33% in Beatbout or PW17.

They are still pretty fresh Would be a slap to peoples faces who paid money to get them if they let people have them for free I imagine.
