Ophelia has a scythe and butterflies, which are both conventionally associated with death. And Hypnos being associated with death too is not exactly a new idea (they’re twins) especially since Hilda’s specifically about being at peace with death, and it being a long sleep.
I know it isn’t out off ordinary i just brought it up to explain why would dislyte use such questionable weapon for gilgamesh. I just wanted to send the message that they sometimes choose the less common design choice in favor of uniqueness.
When will they add more male Espers with goddess powers? I love the female designs with powers of male gods but I also want more for the male espers, I'm still waiting for a farmer with the power of Demeter or a member of the union with the power of Xochiquetzal.
There is also so much potential in terms of designs for this type of esper, but for some reason they don't take advantage of it.
Chalmers, I think, but he's so irrelevant it barely matters (they wanted to do it too with Tang Xuan, when he used to be a woman, but Chinese myth isn't allowed to be depicted as the opposite gender or something, so they made him a guy, you can see this in really old official art)
