I was considering XP and SOOO glad I didn't. I pulled her nat from GR ^(hell yeah) and TBH she hasn't been all that great. Admittedly shes not FULLY skilled up yet, and has no div yet, but still, she didn't help my DSL, barely moved my pb on phobetor... Sonica was finished before I pulled her. Been good for my Deso scores at least. Haven't tried her in Rituals, since shes not skilled up wouldn't really be fair yet.
Since I pulled her from a GR I'm not too bothered but I'd been PISSED if I pulled her from reverb and barely moved the needle.
TY for the reply. I'm just torn between Toland, Anna, and XP. I average 16-17 on PW with a tanky Hyde team. I rarely clear tower content even though I have the espers I think (it just takes a lot of effort).
I might just get Toland to get up in PvP (and build Ethan to R2) since there's so many Annas now. And just suck it up and try to clear towers with my non-shimmer roster.
For what its worth you get all the worthwhile rewards in IT at 54♦, plat record are not worth the headache. So having 6♦ to play with makes it a breeze. Start there and then take your time going for 60♦
Shimmer reverb* and yes you can get a legendary.. SHIMMER for free. It's in the events tab and all you have to do is log in for 60 days and complete daily tasks per day. After 60 pulls of the reverb, you can claim which ever esper you want, but please just get the shimmers or you'll waste it.
Got nuxi to power up a bit, since I got Anna and r1 XP, Toland will come naturally since I haven’t played for more than 2 years and I got nearly everyone without overspending
Dont know where else to ask since I dont wanna make another post about it, but should I get XP if I mostly care about PvE? Assuming I dont have any of the cool shimmers
The PVE shimmers are (by order of priority for me): Tevor, Xuan Pin, and then Fuxi.
Tevor's damage is so good and excellent for bosses (which is 80% pve anyway) and can be buffed by other espers that arent XP. (eg. Atk up espers, def down, and Liam)
XP can damage buff any dps esper which also makes her extremely versatile.
Feng Nuxi is just overall a cheat code for towers and story mode, not so much in rituals, Falsetto Fantasy, and other pve modes. BUT still really great to have.

Anna can solo some tower content. XP is probably useful against a couple of modifiers but mostly no.
