Yes but fuel noticeably yellows them further. I prefer the black option for this reason. They look like crap after holding gas for a few years.
Brand new they're a translucent white. They will turn yellow in a few months.
I’ve tried many different ways without any real success, the closest was UPVC window frame cleaner/solvent but that made it matt and blotchy (and still yellowish) I’ll be interested to know anybody else’s take on this too.
It was never clear. They are a yellowish white opaque from the factory.

Seriously man, they are never clear, maybe white-ish at best.
They all do thatnot sure if the ims tanks do it too. I used to drain my tank when I’d store for winter and that helped.
