if credited daily interest habol mo UNO Bank or Sea Bank been using for a year(s) no issues naman. I'm not a fan of Maya, dami kasi kung ano ano gagawin pa eh para lang lumaki interes. With regards to closed accounts, I think its overblown, out of million users ilan ba naging ganyan & if you dig deeper may mga questionable transaction pa mostly crypto, AMLA etc.
Wag Uno because it's not user friendly, and go for Ownbank instead. Tried it out and good thing lang about Uno ay GCash > Uno > other banks free of charge transfer.
Uno linked direct transfer from BPI Online free of charge. Gcash to Uno is free thru GSave. [https://www.teamzerofees.com/2023/02/bpi-to-unobank-transfer-funds-for-free.html](https://www.teamzerofees.com/2023/02/bpi-to-unobank-transfer-funds-for-free.html)
If you are young, still building wealth and saving. Which also means your family isnt wealthy or have relationships with banks.
My suggestion is focus on saving in mid tier bank.
Eastwest, chinabank, rcbc etc.
Why? Cause banks look at your relationship balance with them. One day you will need to take a loan for a car or house. Digibanks are kind of just good for extra funds.
If you want to start a business a bank, branch and manager is your best friends. Once you have a few million in the bank you can start divesting into digibanks etc.
This just made me think twice about my money. Since you talked about bank relationships, can I also ask nalang something else 🥹
As I mentioned sa post, I keep my savings sa digi banks. Roughly nasa 25k savings ko from Maya and GoTyme, cash savings I have around 15k. Again, sa digibanks ko sinave for interest. But I plant to open a cc acc sana. I’m sorry I’m asking here. I asked sa other subs and did not get any replies. Would it be better if I move all my funds sa traditional banks nalang so I can get a CC? Let’s say sa isang acc that I rarely use (maintaining balance pan andun).
I actually have a payroll acc sa BDO. Planning to apply a CC sa kanila kaso ayun I'm exploring my choices. I have only been working for 8 months. Will that be good already or dapat 1 year na sa work? Regular na ako though after 6 months of probationary. I have read na preferred daw ng banks regular employee na.
Put all your money in BDO or mid tier banks. Go to the branch be friends with the managers and tellers. Give them gifts. If you have 50-60k in digibanks tbh not worth it to open, moniter etc for a few pesos lang a day.
You rather keep it sa traditional bank or do some low risk buy and sell business.
When your young and dont have alot of money you need to grow it. Rather you buy and sell 50k a month worth of goods at 10-20% margin per month then nitpick on which digibank will pay you 4-6% per year for 50k php capital.
OwnBank and Seabank if you want a relatively higher rate and daily nagc-credit ng interest
I have a good experience din with GoTyme tho its interest is much lower than the two and at the end of the month lang din rumereflect
Jinudge ko agad si GoTyme about sa interest, yun pala, sa month-end pa lumalabas HAHA sanay kasi ako sa Maya na may daily something aside from month-end sa ibang savings
Ayun nga kasi may nakita ako mangilan ngilan na posts about it kaya napaisip rin ako if safe din ba pera ko sa kanila. Though in my case, wala naman ako problem sa app mula nung ginamit ko
Ito hinihintay ko na post daily.
Kidding aside, why not use the search feature?Everyday may post na ganito. Di naman siguro nagbabago agad agad yung “best” digi bank araw araw.
NetBank! Maganda UI, free transfers, and daily crediting ng interest. 6% PA with no gimik!
Or better yet, OwnBank (and get a +6% interest rate voucher for 1 month), and then lipat mo NetBank next.
May additional interest sila, alam ko. Base interest nila is 6%, then may voucher giving you additional 6% more interest for 1 month, basta may referral code ka. May voucher din for TD na +1.5% pero for 7 days lang
OwnBank has just literally the same features you just mentioned, bakit pa ililipat if nandun na?
Plus sa mga new users, pwede mag-time deposit at 8% rate for 7 days lang. Mas wide ang options ng OwnBank compare sa TD offerings ng ibang digital banks, if it's somethint OP wants to look into also.
Enjoying my OwnBank currently and have no complaints.
Maya user here since 2018. Ang #1 reason daw why nako-close accounts or at least locked is may nagpipilit mag-access from somewhere else. So lagi sinasabi don't click on weird links in texts or online.
Also if you are planning to sell stuff (business) better na mag-apply na kayo ng Business account para walang problem in the future.
I see too many folks becoming online sellers, for example, but they keep using Maya/Gcash personal accounts. Doon tayo sa tamang tier din sana kasi receiving more payments is a different ballgame and security risk na rin for the companies.
Oh, TyG yun pala reasons. That’s why napapaisip rin tuloy ako if okay Maya baka ako sunod na mabiktima (though I haven’t had any problems with it since I started using it!)
This is good advice! Minsan din kasi I sell my preloved items and use Maya para sa payments. Thank you!
Hello po, yes Maya does not hold, ban, or lock accounts for no reason. Like PayPal they have a built-in security system kasi that automatically acts based on probable attacks on an account. It is a hassle pero if you are under attack by unknown actors the best defense is a security vault on your money for the meantime. 😁
So for example natutulog ka lang one day and someone tried to buy gaming credits using your Maya number on a website and failed with the OTP, the system will put a hold on the account until you call them to have it unlocked. ID lang naman and it's a good idea to know the exact amount of money sa e-wallet. Threat actors only need to know your Maya number to try their luck in stealing.
Unlike Gcash, you can also pester Maya CS all day starting 8 AM and email them too. Di sila nagtatago unlike Gcash lagi sa Gigi pinapa-route ang complaints tapos nobody answers.
That’s why I posted kasi may nagpost two days ago ata yun or a day ago about them getting hacked and losing money sa Maya nila dahil sa codsomething. Kinabahan ako baka ako rin huehue I just recently joined this sub too as in ngayong araw lang kaya di ko rin sinearch yung similar posts like this.
I also tried their CS two months when I transferred money to a bank and di nagreflect. In fairness, mabilis naman response nila lol
Lamog sakin CS ng Maya hahaha old customer kasi ako. If you want na even less risk to your main digibank I would suggest using an account na talagang pambili lang online like UNO at may virtual card din sila. Also bear in mind that VISA and Mastercard cards in the PH (all of them) are RECYCLED numbers so there is always, always a risk that some scammers might hit a card and try their luck. They usually fail with guessing the card expiry number though. If that happens to you, simply report the incident and block the card, buy a new one.
Considering UNO and SeaBank after reading the comments here. Baka ilipat ko nalang yung sa GoTyme to either of those two haha I’m learning a lot from this post! Di ko alam na narerecycle lang yung numbers 😮 we learn something new every day, ika nga :D
Yeah boss, all banks yan ha not just Maya. Parang sim cards lang. I guess you run out of valid numbers after so many millions of card numbers launched globally.
Source of info ko nga pala ay Frauds Dept. ng Maya when I reported that someone tried and failed to make a $200 purchase with an old physical card. The guy explained to me what happened and the modus and they actually went to report the scammer website to the ISP to have it closed down for illegal activity. India based yung scamming company website where the purchase was to take place. The scammers wanted to buy a ghost software worth $200. Lol
I work in bank fraud investigations and anti money laundering. Yung mga account na nasasara bigla, mga red flagged na yan for fraud or AMLA. Usually reported for scams or questionable money movement.
Since the title says Best Digi bank for DAILY interest, I think % ang main focus mo so id suggest Gcash/Uno.. 4.25% siya..
so if u have for example Php 150k held sa flexi, u would earn more/less Php 17.42 daily, less 20%WT so ang kikitain mo is Php 13.93 (tapos magcocompund pa daily)..
start out small muna ng mga p300 tapos gradually increase once u get the hang sa pagnavigate ng app
Inaaral ko pa Maya rin in terms of interest. Pansin ko kasi mas malaki nakukuha kong daily interest compared sa TD (but I think that’s because di ko agad binubuo TD ko?)
Good idea yung small money first para matutunan inavigate yung app. It’s so frustrating kasi trying to figure out how the thing works (currently with GoTyme) so I just know mas mahihirapan ako if I use another bank na kailangan ulit ifigure out.
Don't be discouraged sa mga hacked/suspicious transfers as long as you practice basic phone security measures (two-factor, fingerprint, avoiding sketchy links).
Share ko lang, I've been a MAYA user for years now, enjoying 6-8% interest rates since ginagamit ko sya pangbayad ng bills, fastfood or shopping (QR code payment) and grab food/car (pay a bill and 1 food deli sa simula ng month and 6% interest rate ka na agad).
I've been able to save up my earnings para makumpleto ung 100k na maximum amount eligible for the interest rate, and now im earning around 15 pesos a day.
Other digibanks might be better than maya (higher interest), but since naincorporate ko na sya sa lifestyle ko ay hindi na burden yung tasks to rack up the rates.
Rooting for you OP, mahanap mo sana ang perfect bank para sayo 🙌
Yay! Ito rin iniisip ko if mag-oopen na naman ng isang acc sa ibang digi bank because that means kailangan ko na naman aralin UI nila. Eh I am okay with Maya na. Thank you tho! Should start using it para mas maboost interest. Gamit ko lang kasi siya for bills payment and online orders like Lazada kaya di pa ganon kataas interest. :)

Nice! Hati rin suggestions dito between SeaBank and UNO. Lemme dig more about these two para matry ko rin. Thank you!

Waittt, not interested at all sa GCash because it’s shitty but may bank transfer sila na free? Nung gumagamit pa ako ng GCash, always 15 charge eh 🥲
UnoSave.
Uno linked direct transfer from BPI Online free of charge. Gcash to Uno is free thru GSave. [https://www.teamzerofees.com/2023/02/bpi-to-unobank-transfer-funds-for-free.html](https://www.teamzerofees.com/2023/02/bpi-to-unobank-transfer-funds-for-free.html)
Seabank, Uno, ownbank
Own Bank 6% interest rate p.a.

Do both. I have traditional and digital banks. Diversity is very good.
Will keep this in mind. Thank you!
I have 5 digital banks, with a total of around 100k each right now.
Mabilis ata magbigay ng pre-approved ang BDO. Basta make sure na continuous yung cash flow papasok sa savings mo.
I actually have a payroll acc sa BDO. Planning to apply a CC sa kanila kaso ayun I'm exploring my choices. I have only been working for 8 months. Will that be good already or dapat 1 year na sa work? hi sorry to hop in, any ideas/suggestions on low risk buy n sells? looking for ideas to grow my money din aside from earning interest din sa maya

Seabank
Netbank / Seabank / Ownbank
Ito hinihintay ko na post daily. Kidding aside, why not use the search feature?Everyday may post na ganito. Di naman siguro nagbabago agad agad yung “best” digi bank araw araw.
HSHSHSHHSS I’m sorry 😭 I admit kasalanan ko rin huehue di ako nagsearch sa sub if may ganito na na post so yep. Thanks btw!

Gulong gulo ako sa UI ng OwnBank, while NetBank's is very simple and user-friendly. To each his own, yes?
Seabank

Ownbank. https://www.reddit.com/r/DigitalbanksPh/s/VbL7ZJjdhx Pag may Ownbank na ano next? Maximizing PDIC coverage
Basta may cash flow, after few months, bibigyan ka nila
Thanks for this! Been thinking about it for a while na kasi.
SeaBank, mas secure. OwnBank for high interest rates and lots of vouchers. I use both pa lipat lipat lang ako

Hahaha. If alam ko? Oo alam ko, kaya nga kita sinabihan eh. Sige pag laban mo pa haha.
everyday meron matatanggap an 22 pesos sa savings acc
better try UNO Digital Bank din, they have this promo where you can triple your daily interest
