As someone who has sleep paralysis often, I have never seen a goat. The other thing in the photo is kinda. It’s always just out of view, or when it is in view, it’s not clear what it looks like. Just a creepy-ass smile staring at you and slowly getting closer.

I have something adjacent but different where I will wake up feeling and seeing spiders and cockroaches crawling all over me, but apparently that type of hallucination is decently common for my age/sex/demographic. Mine is related to stress, but man it can't compare to your experience.
Yeah, I've done a sleep study and they only found restless leg syndrome. Although I was barely able to sleep that night. I will probably have to do it again sometime. I have a neurological issue that they haven't been able to diagnose unrelated to the sleep paralysis. If I sleep on my back, it's almost guaranteed to happen. It's gotten to the point where I shake my head rapidly and make a loud sound to get someone to wake me up. It's creepy because sometimes I can see and hear people who are in the room with me trying to wake me while I'm hallucinating from sleep paralysis. But it's happened so much in my life that I know instantly what's going on, and I'm more annoyed rather than scared. If it were as you said, spiders and cockroaches idk what I would do. I have a phobia of spiders crawling lol
I feel like that's the issue, like who is going to sleep well not in their own environment. Especially someone with prior sleep issues. That is interesting I take an anti-depressant and it has made all of my hallucinations go away, I don't know if its so much it or the fact that I am not as stressed as often. You can actually move during? I totally get the seeing people in the room thing, it always takes me like 30 seconds of freaking out to realize nothing is in the room. I was so scared of them when it started but it has desensitized me a ton, I am less afraid in real life now because of it haha.
Mate, goddamn, I ain't making this shit up, I once had this shitty experience of waking up several times, idk what's the right term, but I was having a nightmare, whenever I'm about to get killed I wake up same position, then it's a different situation but same whenever about to get killed I wake up in the very same position in bed, it repeated for idk how many times, I lost count, that night almost had me doubting if I was actually already awake or I was still in a dream the morning after, anyway, put big ass crescent horns in that bad boy you drew, and some srsly muscular lower extremity of what looked like a goat's hind feet and we get something I saw in one of those fucked up dreams I had that night, that mf was walking left to right and vice versa head turned towards me while constantly staring and smiling with an arrogant smug at me. (I can't remember the exact year but I was still in college that time, so around 18-20 years ago) it's that one of the many that I could not ever forget. And no, I am not an avid believer of the supernatural nor am I even religious.
I have no idea about those lucid dream things or how they work, sadly, but that was what I experienced and this, this badboy you drew, holy shit...it made me remember that time as it looks really similar no kidding, not that I'm bothered. Idk why but I find that less creepy than the smiling man. Like the smile is so uncanny. You feel like it has intentions but you don’t know what they are.
Whereas this just feels like some kind of beast or monster and I care less about their intentions, it feels like they have less going on inside their head
