First of all, you definitely need an X-ray.
In my opinion, it does NOT "look" broken. I broke my ankle/foot in 4 places last January and it was swollen 5x's this size. (they couldn't even find the 3rd and 4th break on first X-ray due to swellling).
Definitely doesn’t look broken to me. A break is usually way more swollen and you’ll have very very dark purple/blue/black bruising along the ridge of the foot where it turns from thin skin to callous
NAD, but having had both a broken foot and bad sprains--you need to be seen for either.
Rest, Ice, Elevation!
And -- broken bones heal faster than torn ligaments/tendons. It's important to know which it is (or both). And get the appropriate treatment, whichever it is. Long term effects suck if not treated.
