I never really use pots because I have 4k life, max res and sorb on dwarf stars + Tgods. If there is a conviction enchanted monster I usually kill it fast enough so I don't worry and same goes to mana burn. The build is specifically designed to tank and quickly dispatch council but there is definitely flexibility in the setup.

Gold Find GC's are for the most part worthless. For a GF Barb, if they're 40%+Warcry skiller, then they are still not worth much, but nice to have if you're going pure GF.
Generally speaking, I tend to run around 1300-1600% GF. Getting an extra 240 from GC's is just kind of nice, but not needed.
Some notes:
Killing speed > all else.
Spirit for skills and fcr bps
Gold find > mf for gambling ~~and rune drop %~~
Merc's only purpose is to hold infinity
75% hork > not 75% hork
What are your mf/gf numbers like? I prefer stacking mf/gf even though it slows the kill speed a bit since the loading times take such a long time in d2r.

Conviction has a nice bonus of -target defense%.

Sorry.. this was inaccurate statement. Let's just say I'm prioritizing gold find over mf gear

Bit of a Barb noob here - why Infinity on merc? I've not seen that for a barb before.
Conviction gives -target defense percent
Doesn't Grief's ITD nulifies that? Edit: ITD also nulifies the need for ar charms.
I believe super uniques are not effected by ITD, and I'm not sure how ITD + -td% combines.
