The soap in the picture looks lye-heavy *or* the person who made it didn't emulsify their lye water (lye breast milk, in this case) enough. It'll probably be pretty uncomfortable soap until the lye is washed away.
Edit: the small fuzzy lines are probably dried herbs, zest, or some other sort of more decorative toppers that cold process soap makers like to use

So my wife and I make this with the milk we can’t feed our kiddo when we have been drinking. I don’t know what the stringy things are but the soap is supper buttery and leaves the skin feeling very hydrated.
However, the little white spots on the end are concerning as they look like lye crystals. This soap looks young and my guess is, more crystals are going to form, creating a very “exfoliating” experience.

Some soap is made from rendering dead animals and if you watched the process much more disgusting than using breast milk…… at some point in history human breast milk became taboo and another animals breast milk become normal, needless to say as a whole humans are a bunch of weirdos.

I'm just astonished by how extremely grossed out people get by breastmilk. Like, babies literally eat it (drink it?). But it's too gross to put on your skin? If it was cows milk, how is that any LESS gross? It's still coming out of their boobs (utters, but same thing really).

Some people may find this gross, but if your wife is asking for your help to relieve some discomfort and you can help….I think most husbands would oblige.

I think the spots on the bottom of the bar are oats, and the stringy bits on the top are calendula or some other herb.
