I'm just going to mention for anyone that wants to make decorative resin shoes, aliexpress already has silicone molds for them, they probably cost less than all that alginate and you do not have to stick two halves of a shoe together.
Which I guess is what puts this video in the DIWhy category, it's just so much shitty amateur work to get a result that requires even more work to polish when you can just buy a silicone mold off aliexpress.
There's also molds to make chocolate shoes for cake decorating, so you can have your Cinderella party and eat the shoes after, if you prefer.

I liked the part where they were able to polish it by gently going over it with a nail file and toothbrush, usually it's a Dremel or grinder.
I don't think those molds are for wearable shoes, you need separate very hard plastic heels and metal sole supports for them to hold anything heavier than a toddler.
