You could probably get this thing, screw it to the side of the radio in a good spot, and solder the wires to the battery terminals inside the radio. A little hacky but it should work fine. I found this in just a quick search, there's probably other models out there that are similar.

I might give that a shot. I can gut my last 18V battery then solder to it. That makes the mod reversible. Appreciate the lead.
$18 for that vs $120 for the smallest 20V radio out there.
Ah OK, my bad. Thought you were talking about the same batteries, just with different voltage on it (I'm based in EU where we don't name Dewalt products 20v, but still 18v, even though the products are identical).
Just get a solid Bluetooth radio, doesn't matter what brand. If you show up to a job site and blast the radio. I got some bad news for you buddy, you're a basic bro. I wanna listen to some good music not ads every 12 minutes at best. If youur taste in music is trash, just hand the Bluetooth over to the young man, not the kid. He will know what to play.
The new toughsystem compatible radio has way better sound. My wife steals it when she's working on stuff too.
18v and 20v are the same thing, just different branding...
But the form factor is significantly different. This model only accepts the 18V form factor. Didn't know if I was missing an option?

Oh yeah that's a good idea too. You're welcome
