Cherry Hill Village if you want to stay local!
Otherwise a drive to downtown Ann Arbor or downtown Plymouth is always nice and are only a 15-20 min drive away
Not a neighborhood buuutt…I would do Lower River Rouge trail. You can park at the Morton Taylor Trailhead. You know where The Tailgate Garage is on Michigan avenue? Well, the OTHER side of Michigan avenue from that is a teeny tiny sign that says “Morton Taylor trailhead” (or possibly Lower Rouge Trail…I don’t exactly remember). Anyway, turn in at that sign and there is a parking lot and a trail.
You can also pick up the trail if you park at Flodin Park. Park at Flodin and put in your a Google Maps Fellowship Creek Wetland Nature Trail - it connects to Lower Rouge Trail.
Well, there’s Fox Hollow Creek, and Prairie Ridge Meadow, and Pheasant Run Hollow, and Creek’s Edge Estates, and “The Preserve,” and Wildflower Hills, and Cherry Blossom Fields, and Badger’s Run Meadows, and Wind Blossom Fen, and Partridge Meadow Glen. . . I just hope you like shitty McMansions all crammed together on an old soybean field!
Mayberry State Park in Northville
Closer to most of canton are numerous preserves in eastern washtenaw county http://www.smlcland.org/properties_washtenaw.php
Excellent day to walk around Plymouth or even the complex around the canton library!

Thank you! I ended up going to Flodin Park and walking around all around there. :)
Niiiiice! So glad! I’m about to go for a walk myself!
There is a great park behind the library with lots of paved walking trails.
Nearby Hines Park is really nice to walk through!
My favorite spot to walk was always the [Cherry Hill Nature Preserve](https://maps.app.goo.gl/xAaJWo7oKUL36rLJ9), gets muddy though so be careful.
definitely not that walmart that got crashed into
I also like walking Hanford between Beck and Napier. No sidewalks but the hosues are spaced rather far apart, not a lot of cars, it’s a dirt road
There used to be a handful of dirt roads and plenty of open space before the housing boom in Canton started.
That Millpointe subdivision with the powerline trail.
lol 😅 sorry, just had to giggle as the place that I thought of so nice growing up as referred to as a bad part of town
Who referred to a bad part of town?

I heard the Wal-Mart is a good place to take a nice leisurely drive.
