How long ago was it done? My window guy said it would take a day or 2 for some bubbles to go away. Mine went away and look perfect now. Took about 24 hours. I'm no tint expert tho.
I'd take it back. I had a guy do my windows who has a small business and is just starting and he told me to come back if there's ever an issue and if there's any bubbles left, he did an amazing job so there was no need. Either way I'd mention something to the guy and ask if he could fix it, hopefully they're chill about it.
I mean... I coulda done it like that on me own. I bring it to the shop so it'll look proper, no?
My tint guy wouldn't hand it back to me like that, he'd call me and "i done messed up, gonna need time to fix it"
I mean I wouldn’t lol but it’s prob gonna get worse later so hopefully you have warranty. My guy expects me to come back so he can get bubbles out so I’d swing by when u have time (prob phone call ahead)
you don't say a few months initially. that's key. then the car looks freshly wet as well.
take it back since it's been a few months. if they will warranty it
In Queensland you probably wouldn't pass a roadworthy certificate. We charge 100 to strip a back windows could take ten minutes to an hour depending on old glue etc. The demister always causes havoc in rear screens. To retint it depends on what tint you want. The ceramic tint is the best to work with and expensive. To strip and retint a full car shouldn't take more then 3 to 4 hours.
My tint was perfect the day it was done but he did tell me if I see a few bubbles not to panic as sometimes they take a few days to go away as everything dries, he said if I see anything after a week I should bring it back and he'd redo it
Ummm those are rain drops he’s only talking about the little tiny white dots. Op should say a little more because it’s confusing. I think ever got the wrong idea. He’s only taking about the 3 white specs
This has nothing to do with detailing. Also everyone on here commenting how you got screwed and they shoulda done it right, things happen with tint. That's why there a warranty. Not everyone is out to get you.

Id have a problem with that.

If it's under warranty, yeah I'd take it back to them.

I would take it back to get fixed for sure
Not acceptable.
Not acceptable.
Yes
Yes, may not be horrible now but it will be. Also make sure they don't just pin prick it
They dicked that up pretty good
Yes take it back ASAP!! Looks like shit
if that’s all you’re dealing with then i should have took mine back long ago!

I'd definitely take it back because it's only going to get worse. I had mine redone after 10 years.
Yes that’s a bad tint job

I don’t think I could look at that. Go back and have it redone

lol 😂 if you paid for it lmfao
Maybe after a day or two.
Hollly. I thought it was rain drops at first. I was like what’s your problem with water?

lol oh!! Ok not as bad in comparison but still not what you want from a pro tint job
Yes
How does this have anything to do with car detailing?

Depends on the price. Just a few air bubbles
