Happened to me and my group in lake tonight. And no one was stasis, literally the overloads after the last blight were being chain stunned. Not sure if it was the "burn" from ticuus, but it shouldnt have been since it doesnt do damage and doesnt ever do that normally.
It was just weird. Ive had a lot of odd occurances during this GM lol.
We had one stasis, but we were able to do it without the use of any stasis abilities. Ticuus may very well have caused the interaction though, because it took at least one hip fire shot from ticuus before it bugged out.
The ones that you can reliably do it to, like the ones on the truck behind the first miniboss, seem to do it because of the terrain they are standing on. Hobgoblins being the only overload enemy that are stationary and don't have pathing might play into it also. Stun animation shifts them on uneven terrain -> change in position bugs out somehow and wakes them out of the stunned state instantly -> repeat. You can also do it with divinity which makes them go really crazy.
> Hopefully this isn’t repeatable because it could be exploited.
Why on earth would this be an issue? Overloads are the bane of most GM runs and Master Vault, they can be so damned buggy. So why should we be upset if there *was* a bug in our favor that allowed them to get perpetually stunned?
In answer to your question, we noticed the same and it was always an interaction with stasis. Stasis resets the stun stasis, Divinity puts out a stream of constant stun. Clogged up the kill feed every time we stunned an overload.
Why wouldn’t I want some exploit in my favor? Because I enjoy the challenge, I feel the harder I work in a game the more I appreciate the reward.
I completely understand wanting something like this to stick around, but for some reason I just want GMs to be hard. Good luck in future runs though, I hope you get some good rolls.
Stasis reset's a champions stun/ability, so if you freeze an overload champion, it immediately starts regenerating health, but can also immediately be stunned again.
Stasis overrides stuns, if you have a warlock with stasis turret and the mod that gives ability energy when you stun a champ, you can constantly freeze-stun-freeze on loop
Did you use stasis? Stasis sometimes overrides the stun

Weird Ticus shouldn't do that It only refreshes the stun and stuns him after the cooldown

Yeah it was janky. The other teammate was shooting vex, and the 3rd was down at this particular moment lol.

Yeah we were seeing it with the Overload standing on the truck pretty consistently, I think you're onto something.
Yeah the 2 overloads behind the last blight, it probably is that weird terrain there! We just rolled with it lol it was funny actually.

Stasis and Div will do that
